Novotel Bandung

One of the few hotels in Bandung with good sound insulation. Having tried several other hotels and being woken up by loud motorcycles or trains I decided to try Novotel and I'm glad I did.
Comfortable bed, clean and most importantly quiet — you can actually sleep there without some motorcycle waking you up 2am.

The rooms are quite old and cleanliness was disappointing — my room had hair everywhere, and the faucets were covered in what seemed like moisturizer from the previous guest. The sink was constantly clogged. Breakfast options were very limited, and the service felt rather stingy. Service felt minimal rather than welcoming. The staff is welcoming though.

I had a wonderful stay at Novotel Bandung. The food was absolutely delicious with a great variety and excellent taste. What truly made the experience even better was the service, especially from Mba Salsa. She was very kind, friendly, and attentive, making us feel welcomed and well taken care of throughout our stay. Her warm hospitality really stood out. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience, and I would definitely recommend Novotel Bandung to others.

Room seems old but still decent and well maintained, shampoo and shower might be reviewed for the quality and scent.
All service are well delivered, except the parking arrangement, many visitor feels like VIP and parked their car in the lobby and almots closed the access, on Dec7th, 2025 the security just stand still without action! He promised to arrange, but after 1 round checking the parking availability, nothing changed, just lip service.
Access, it’s very closed to train station and also to the downtown.

Had a short stay. It was a good stay. Check in was easy. Staffs were freindly and helpful. Room was okay. Not too big not too small. It was clean. Its somehow feels a bot old but atill very acceptable. Parking might be difficult when its crowded. Great location, just downtown. Very near to a lot of things.

Breakfast here isn’t just a meal — it’s a morning ritual wrapped in sunlight. Every bite feels curated with quiet confidence, from the perfectly fluffed omelets to the coffee that tastes like it has a story to tell. A slow, beautiful way to begin the day. Also, thank you to Ms. Salsa for her excellent service.

The hotel is centrally located allowing visitors to visit other places from this area. The breakfast was good and the staffs are very friendly and humble. They are also respectful and polite when serving guests. Staff named Salsa, especially was very nice and helpful in explaining the ingredients in the food and helped to make an awesome cappuccino coffee for me. Thank you Novotel Bandung 💐

Overall, a great experience at Novotel Bandung. Service was great and the food was up to the standards I had before coming here. Was served and treated well by Lia and Annisa which has definitely made my first experience here a wonderful one. Their in-room services (laundry & housekeeping) was really nice and accommodating. Highly recommended!

I am an ex Diamond Member and currently a Platinum Member. I had stayed in this hotel for many times and had been very satisfied and happy with the service by Ms. Ledi, the front office manager. This last visit on 31st July 2025 I learnt that Ledi was no longer part of the team and was instead serviced by Mr. Billy, the duty manager. What a disappointing experience it was.
First of all, Mr. Billy as duty manager had missed fulfilling our benefit as Platinum Member. Our room’s AC was not cool enough and very noisy all through the night. We came down to front desk anf complained at 3 am to staff IN FRONT OF Mr. Billy and our problem was poorly done. We were not given alternative room and was unable to get a good rest. The building facility was poorly maintained.
All of our requests which had been agreed by duty manager was casually neglected and he HAD THE NERVE TO LIE that our request was not available for Platinum Members. We then responded if it is the fact then we will email Accor Group to confirm. He then quickly changed his response and apologised that our requests were actually included in Platinum Member privilege. Very, VERY disappointed with this dishonest attitude and such a shame for Novotel Bandung to keep this standard of staff. I am now contemplating to move to another Accor Hotel if Novotel does not improve its standard of service.

Have a one night stay here to celebrate my wedding anniversary, the service is so good. We have a clear and prompt response on all our inquiries. Room is clean as well, and they have netflix here, already logged in as well! 🙏

It's true, Novotel Bandung sits in a fantastic spot right in Cihampelas. For a well-known hotel like this, the prices definitely feel reasonable when you're visiting. As a Gold member, that upgrade to the Executive Room was a nice touch – plenty of space and everything was clean, plus you never have to worry about parking here.
However, walking around the hotel, it's hard to ignore that some areas are starting to show their age. Seeing things like cracks on the furniture and some mold in the room does take away from the overall feel. It makes it tough to rate it as a perfect stay when those details are noticeable.
Novotel Bandung has a long history of being a top hotel in the city, and you can see the potential is still there. Hopefully, they'll invest in some updates to bring the building back to the standard that their name suggests.

I’ve stayed at Novotel Bandung a few times and it’s my go-to choice when I’m in town for a solo business trip. The room is spacious and comfortable. As a Gold member, I usually get offered a free upgrade, but I often decline since the standard room is already more than enough for one person.
The hotel and rooms are a bit older, but still well-maintained and very comfortable. Breakfast is a highlight—plenty of variety and good quality.
Definitely planning to stay here again.

The hotel is very good, Room is big. Breakfast is good, many options. They also have spa facilities. Café, restaurant and mini market is just walking distance. Quick check in process. Toilets near resto is good. But they need to assist somebody / guest from hotel who wants to cross the street to go to minimarket.

WORST HOTEL EVER!
I checked in at 15.45 with Jihad, and he said just wait 10 mins bcs the room was not ready yet. I was waiting for 5 mins and I couldn't wait anymore bcs it doesn't make sense. I came back to Jihad to complaint and he said "iya kak maaf kakak nya req high floor kan, high floor kami belum ready ka" HOW COME HOTEL CHAIN CAN'T PREPARE THE GUEST REQUEST BEFORE ARRIVAL? After that Jihad gave me the room key and he said the room is ready at 11th floor. Anyway I'm hotelier. The second thing, I called reception to ask bathmat and tissue box, I was waiting for some time but nobody come to my room. I came to reception and ask directly to Jihad. He said he will send housekeeping. After that I came back to my room. Why do I need to come to reception to req anything? As the guest we can req anything by phone right? The third thing, I called reception at 20.17 to ask chopstik but the lady said they don't have it. HOW COME HOTEL CHAIN DOESN'T HAVE CHOPSTIK? I don't believe her so I called IRD directly and he said they have it. After that he came to my room. The fourth thing, this morning I was breakfast at restaurant and I came to pasta area. I asked one lady which is SHE IS A CHEF. I asked her wether they have spagetthi or no. She said spagetthi is being refilled. But I don't believe her bcs there is no tag for spagetthi. I came to my table for eating. After I finished the food, I came back to that area, I ask to another lady she said they don't have spagetthi.

A wonderful hotel in cool Bandung. The Rooms are clean and comfortable. We had a nice connecting room (travel with our son) and reception was accommodative as we checked in earlier than the specified time. Breakfast at the hotel had a very good local and continental spread. We enjoyed the breakfast. The cafe staff Lia, Fasha and Ayril were very courtious in attending to us…
Will repeat stay if we come back to Bandung.

The food was good especially the coffee that were made by one of your staff named Lia. She provided a very good service to my family and I. Same with the other two staff, Fasha and Agril who provide us a good service. Overall the food was great same goes to their service. Will come here again in the future for sure.

Lia very friendly and give us an excellent service, feel very warmth wth her smile whenever we ask for help. The food is nice, happy n satisfied staying in this hotel looking forward to come agn. Thank you to Lia that served us with patience.
