My friend and I stayed for 3 days at Emaki Bumi Singgah, and story short, it was a pleasant stay!
We arrived early at the place, but we were unable to check in. The staffs were very helpful to keep our luggages while we explore the city. When we returned our room was prepared and our luggages was set.
Location wise, it was hidden in the city center but without the loud ambience on the busy city. Walking distance to well known restaurants (Adhighana — good for breakfast!, and Warung Seruni).
We rented a motorbike elsewhere and we were able to park it there.
There's amenities provided, hair dryer, standard tea/coffee/sugar and electric water jug, and also smartTV that works well for a movie night.
A little downside was that the room isn't that soundproof. The hotel was right next to their cafe and the room we were at was right next to the poolside and the seating area, so it could be loud sometimes. My friend and I were out most of the day so we weren't too affected by this matter. Another downside is also mosquitoes hehe, but otherwise, all is well!
Guesthouse yang homey, good location, near Gedung Sate, surrounding by restaurant and coffee shop. Clean room, nice swimming pool. Suggestion need to add exhaust fan on the bathroom, need to accept the credit card. Will come back here again.

I stayed over the weekend (saturday — sunday) was very shock over arrival as we weren't informed that the pool will also be used for swimming lesson from 7AM — 6PM everyyydayyy.
Crowded with people who are checking out, people that goes to the coffee shop and also parents that are waiting for their children to go to swim lessons.
Since the swimming lesson are starting from 7AM, you're being awaken by the sound of swim teachers saying go go go …
Other than that, staffs are helpful (definitely overwhelmed) and the location is very strategic.
