The lobby is way more impressive with its Victorian charm than the rooms in both cleanliness and space.
Room Cleanliness is one concern along with the worn-out towels, curtains, and bed spread.
Note: The reception block access to the key card by 11 am as they consider 11 check out time and don'tinformyou about this when you check in. Ultimately, you need to climb back to the reception to get back into the room.
Stepping into this Victorian-style hotel was an experience in itself, though I must admit, the ambiance struck me as a bit creepy. The ornate decor and dim lighting created an atmosphere that might not be everyone's cup of tea.
On a positive note, the room itself was surprisingly spacious and boasted an extra-fancy seat that added a touch of luxury. However, the downsides quickly became apparent. The TV was disappointingly small, making it less than ideal for those who enjoy a good screen for entertainment. The leaking fridge and sink were inconvenient, and the struggling AC failed to cool the room adequately.
The dim lights, while contributing to the overall atmosphere, bordered on eerie, and the walk-in closet was especially unsettling. For those who may be put off by such an ambiance, it's worth noting that the Victorian charm can be a double-edged sword.

Guesthouse with a mix of vintage deco and modern interior. With a quite affordable price you can get a decent comfy room, even tho the sheets need bleaching. The view from the balcony is nice and breezy. I don’t bother turning the aircon on bcs it’s very cold already. Hot water runs well. The lift is broken tho so you’ll lose some calories by walking in the steps… one thing that needs improvement for me is the lighting. At night, it’s too bleak.
