The location of the hotel is far from everywhere in Bandung. If you are looking for a hotel to stay after a long day of exploring Bandung City and might want to explore more in the next day, this hotel might not be the right choice. However, you are looking for a place to stay with the quite ambience after tiredness or loudness of the city attacks you, this hotel might be the best choice of all. This is a budget hotel because of the cheapness, so you dont expect something luxury inside this hotel but they offer the great view and ambience. As a budget hotel, the room wasn't really clean, but it's pretty neat and comfy to sleep in. The room and the bath room was spacious, with the cable television.
We booked two rooms and had to change 1 room because the room was full of oily smell.
Good things:
The staff is helpful.
Unlimited hot shower (although the temperature varies during the shower) with good pressure.
The property is nicely designed. Nice cafeteria area. It's quiet. The room has a balcony, it's really nice to sit there early morning and listen to birds.
There could be a nice city view, especially from rooftop but there was just too much pollution to see anything.
Bad things:
The Wi-Fi speed was terrible. XL internet is also bad in the area and it gets worse inside the hotel.
The linens and the room floor were dirty, I could smell dried sweat on the pillows. The linens were stained, even when they changed the pillows.
The mattress was too fluffy and uneven, could not get restful sleep. Also, they have put two single bed mattresses on a double bed.
No regular room cleaning service. The room has kettle but no complimentary coffee pouches.
All of this was true for both rooms.
I am honestly amazed this hotel has such good rating. Maybe it used to be good once.

I found Are You and I — Bed & Breakfast Bandung to be a decent stay overall and felt it was fair for the price. The room was comfortable and roomy, and I really liked the atmosphere there. The view was a nice bonus too. The staff were helpful and pleasant, which made the experience smoother. There was just one unfinished point that left me wanting a bit more.
