The best place for Tennis tournament in jakarta, hopefully u build more indoor court 🙏🙏😁😁… near to MRT station and love to come here again.
I got free upgrade from normal room to suite. The normal rooms cigarette stench will kill your mood and vibe. The dispute between government and the Organisation resulted in multiple entrances road closures and its just a pain to get in and get out of the place. Waited 1 hour to get a taxi to hotel and the traffics is out of control. The breakfast selection is amazing but not the quality/

My wife and daughter stayed at The Sultan Hotel & Residence Jakarta during the 2025 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships at the Indonesia Arena, and overall, it was a very good experience. The room was clean, spacious, and well-maintained, with daily bed linen changes and complimentary soft drinks, which was a thoughtful touch. The breakfast was excellent, offering a wide variety of local and international dishes, fresh fruits, and pastries. The staff were courteous and helpful, always ready to assist when needed.
The location was also a strong point — within walking distance of the Indonesia Arena, and the area felt safe even late in the evening, making it convenient to walk back after the event.
However, while the hotel is rated as a five-star property, it does appear quite dated in some areas and would certainly benefit from renovation and modernization. Some facilities and décor show their age, though everything remained functional and clean. Another issue was that the hotel does not provide electric carts (buggies) for moving guests around its large grounds, which one would expect in a hotel of this category. Instead, my wife and daughter were offered a motorcycle ride — something rather unusual for a five-star establishment.
Lastly, the hotel’s entrance and exit routes can be confusing, and taxi drivers often had difficulty finding the correct approach.
