The hotel has a large park which very good for hang out. The room rate is quite affordable for 5 stars hotel. However, the building and its material are old.

Excellent Hotel although a bit old and needs renovation in the rooms — all other facilities are great — food is good — rooms clean — friends day staff and centrally located.

My stay was short, but I enjoyed it, service was outstanding, there was a variety of dishes for breakfast lunch and supper, although for breakfast I do think more cooks could be available to cook the eggs, actually I do think they might have been short on staff, atleast it seemed that way, but be that as it may I had a blast at the sultan hotel :)

Nice, beautiful, tidy n cool bedroom, clean bathroom, has wide place meeting hall/ballroom, hospitalize employee. Delicious food and fresh drink. Good lift, quiet corridor. Safety situation, comfort, close to the highway.

Old hotel but still in good shape. Staffs are impeccable. Room has a commanding view over the city, not to mention very spacious. Breakfast is superb.

I have stayed in this hotel during IPA 2018. The cable TV was good, the room amenities are complete, the breakfast menu was fantastic. The only minus point is the access way seems difficult due to some renovation around senayan area.

Stay one night at Grand Deluxe Room. The room is very spacious. And they got shower and bath tub at the bathroom. The Wi-Fi is super fast. It only took 3 minutes upload to YouTube for 3 minutes video. Too bad the swimming pool is under construction, so we need to walk next to the residence.

Large but old hotel. Considering its location and hotel amenities, it is quite a good value to stay here. But I usually prefers to pay a little bit more to stay in newer hotel. This hotel used to be called the Hilton even though they are not affiliated with the Hiltom Hotel Group. It is typical Indonesian business to just blatantly use copyrighted name without permission. As suspected their service is nowhere near as good a the real Hilton Hotel.

Hotel environment is good, price is also OK. Although the surrounding is CBD but to go to the mall words are basically not within walking range. It is not recommended that you need to cross the road without a flyover and without traffic lights.

Room is large but seems outdated. Water heater not working and there is no liquid soap. No slippers no sewing kit. Should upgrade the old fashioned bathroom. The Led TV is too small should upgrade from 32 to 40inch at least. View from the room is quite great.

Room is a littler dated but the convenience of being next to the Jakarta Convention Centre is great. Breakfast is amazing in its spread. View from the room is wonderful. Stayed at the Garden Tower. The gym and pool are adequate and they use the one at the Sultan Residences.

I stayed for four nights. The hotel have a good location, very close to Jakarta Convention Center. It is also near malls, business district and city center. Breakfast was varied and nice. The staff is friendly and helpful. The size of the room is large and the beds are comfortable. I think this hotel is a bit old. The furnishings and bathroom must be renovated.

I was here for a wedding and aside from the vey crowded yet complicated entrance, there was absolutely no staff at the entrance, or even the lobby to give us directions. Very few lift, no staff at standby, and in the end I had to look all over the place for the venue while going up and down the stairs wearing heels and skirt. The hotel management didn't have any agreement with the wedding organizers on the amount of people in the venue, so we were literally cramped like sardines and it was hot. Food are so-so. They didn't have any taxi spot on standby either. If anyone were to ask me to attend a wedding here again, I woulf wholeheartedly refuse.

My mom and I stayed in the Grand deluxe room for one night. We came the day before around 7 pm and we were warmly welcomed by all the staffs. The check-in lasted no more than 2 minutes and the concierge quickly served us with welcome drinks while we were waiting for the check-in. One porter whom I forgot his name politely took our things up to our room. The room was classic, very clean, spacious, and well maintained, but for me it is better to add more lightings and newer chairs. The bathtub was fast-flowing and the heater worked nicely. The breakfast in this hotel has always been magnificent since my first stay 12 years ago, with huge selection and all the f n b was delicious. Overall, it was an excellent stay in a very strategic hotel.

Near access to Jakarta Convention Center. So if you have an event there, this hotel is the best place to stay. Really nice and comfortable. Great restaurants. Offer free welcome drink while you wait for check in. Although the building is old, but it’s well maintained.

The service and staff are great. The room is comfy. Too bad in high season like this (i stay for new year) they renovate the swimming pool and gym center, so we have to join the pool & gym of sultan residence which was very crowded and took a long walk to reach it from hotel building. They serve various menu for breakfast and buffet, the taste is not the best but acceptable. Will stay here to experience more, maybe after they finish the renovation. Keep the good work! :)

Its a five star hotel but its also old. Its nicely furnished but with an oldish look to its room. Breakfast is nice with a varied selections.

Great *5 hotel in the heart of the city. The Sultan hotel is the nearest to the Jakarta Convention Center. A resort style hotel with a very spacious garden. I recommend booking an executive room, the amenities are from Hermes. A good value for that price. They have free shuttle bus to Senayan city mall.

All perfect. Large territory vehicle free, trees and natural park, sculptures in traditional style. Pairings gallery in lobby.

This is the old hotel in Jakarta, the staff is kind, the room is quite big, but the equipment is older, the bed seems too long so sleep up feel a little itchy, my daughter is allergic physique, one into the room less than 20 minutes, the face of allergic reaction, on behalf of the room dust mite too much, the room should be a regular good cleaning, bathroom equipment older, Breakfast is a lot of things, but not very good, fruit is good, food than 10 years ago I stay jet lag.

Upscale hotel in South Jakarta. Located in strategic area. Near to Sudirman Business District. Fancy old design.

The Sultan is a jewel in Jakarta, situated out of the city bustle, but within a short distance from the city. The staff are friendly and willing to serve with a smile. The cuisine is the best that Indonesia has to offer. Such a lovely stay!

Very good and comfortable stay. Breakfast has lot of variety. Airport to hotel and back can be arranged by hotel but it will cost higher than uber. Rooms are big. Staff very much polite and helpful.

Sultan Hotel is a very remarkable place to stay in Jakarta. The rooms are quite spacious with elegantly designed interiors. I stayed for five nights in March 2014.
