Despite full prepayment, we were forced to pay a deposit at check-in. Cash-only, or a 3-day refund if paid otherwise. I dont bring cash and they told me to go to the nearby (broken) ATM. Poor communication and indifferent staff attitude. Not to mention the room is really different from the pictures.

Absolutely love this place to stay!
The room is cozy and spaci-fect — spacious and perfect!
One thing to improve is the signal, since we had some trouble watching YouTube or Netflix.
Overall, it was NICEEEEE! Even the breakfast was great, and the view was totally top-notch!
Will come back for sure!

I'm considering to coming again for the next trip. One thing missing on our room was the list of phone number, so we weren't able to call the receptionist or the cafe/resto to order room service.
Also, they need to fix their remote tv. It was kinda slow.
For the breakfast, you need to choose the menu you want when you check-in. They're tasty.

TV was moving slowly, not to mention the internet. They gave me a room at the lobby floor, no view, felt suffocated. Furniture looks cheap. Overrated and overpriced. Never coming back again. There are better places with more affordable prices, better rooms, better hospitality, much worthier.

Great stay! Centrally located in Jakarta. Clean cozy rooms and the staff is amazing. Lots of food stalls in the same street and a rooftop with an view of the skyline. Would definitely stay here again on my next trip!

A hidden gems in a center of Indonesian capital — Jakarta, a step a away to any street Indonesian food but also provide western culinary, a perfect secret gate away from working hectic while still feel jakarta exotic vibrant, really love the foods.

I don't normally write reviews but I couldn't help but recommend Nostoi. Nostoi is a wonderful small hotel with an excellent roof top restaurant. Personally I don't want to stay at the main tourist locations and experience a country for what it really is and nostoi is an excellent location. Surrounded by market stalls to your left and right while still relatively close to some malls and other shops. The city view is a tad exaggerated and isn't too grand. Customer service is great all staff I met spoke English very well, I only stayed 3 nights but they all knew my name by the time I left and would often say I didn't need to pay for my coffee which I couldn't accept but it's nice to see the generosity and care they have for those staying. If you want a hotel that's a bit more expensive than the average one in Jakarta I highly recommend nostoi. I know where I'll stay if I come back.

Had a very pleasant stay at Nostoi, it is located near 2 MRT stations with 10-15 mins estimated walk. The room was very clean and neat, and it has very nice lighting, LOVE it. It was very chic with its Japanese minimalist style. The bathroom was also really nice, the hotel provided clean towels. When we came for check in, we got complimentary welcome drinks on their rooftop bar, the citrusy pinapple drink was amazing (the ambience too). When we went for checkout, we also got complimentary coffee from their coffee shop. Overall stay, really great.

Hidden gem by setia budi district. Feel welcome from beginning of check in by FO team. Japan ornamen in the room gave the special ambience during the stayed. Beautiful view in the rooftop dining testo added our stay becomes memorable. End up with farewell coffee is a point plus… Cheers.

Visually pleasing room and hotel with Japanese room concept. However, the cleanliness needs to be taken care of more. The room that I booked had several room decorations covered in thick dust. The furniture also not that clean. Other than that, our bedding was teared a little also.

The studio room was homey and adequate, and even has Netflix. The staff was super helpful and friendly. Rooftop bar was great, just a shame it closes at 12am. Location wise is not too bad, near to a couple of malls, just that there’s no convenience store nearby. Overall would definitely return :)

Room is very nice and clean with unique industrial and japanese concept. Fair price for the location. On the rooftop is a nice outdoor bar to chill and wind down. Overall, good experience!

One of the hidden gems in town. It's unexpected to find such a nice hotel with a fancy rooftop (Noru). The room is Japanese style and very comfy. Although the location is a bit narrow, the hotel is worth trying for a staycation.

Home feeling living experience, suitable for long stay expat.
