What make you doubt to visit this hotel? All of the ambiance, restaurants and facilities are really ine of the best. I love the small bar at the corner with it live music and pool table. The buffet restaurant which provides Various food is awesome. Another recommendation is the Japanese restaurant at level 1. I believe it is one of the best in town.

The room was a bit cool but when we adjusted the remote control to increase the temperature it didn't work. We call for service, they send someone but the problem was still not resolve. Later in the night there was letter at our doorstep informing us that new room was ready whenever we want to move. We did move and thank you for the duty manager for taking the proactive effort without being ask. I appreciate that for your concern to your guests' comfort. Keep up the good job.

Incredible value and excellent service. Very polite, well trained staff willing to help out with any request. Amenities include well equiped spacious gym, spa with steam room and sauna, roof top pool and gardens, very generous executive lounge. Good meeting and conference rooms, often available on short notice. Well located with easy access to business and government centers. Bar with live music.

Came here on business. Stayed several weeks. The place is decent but for seasoned travellers, it is a little mediocre. The place needs some sprucing up and refreshing. I am told some rooms have recently been renovated but I suppose not mine; the bathroom amenities need to be reviewed to match contemporary practices as the standard toiletries (both the format and content) is a bit dated compared to competing hotel brands; and the breakfast spread while alright, does look a bit predictable for regular travellers — the spread is alright if one does not always eat hotel breakfast buffets, I do so on a fairly regular basis so the expectations are certainly different. Having said that, I still think that the Marriott brand should still consider offering something different compared to other similar brands. The pool here is rather small and not quite suitable for serious laps and a touch too shallow for flip turns (my height is average to short). The gym is good. Full equipment sets. Weight machines, freeweights, pull up and dip stations and other calisthenics stuff, and of course treadmills (with individual screens) and bike stations. No cross trainers. Gym is 24/7 I am told. Was there between 2200 and 2300hrs with no issues. Security is tight. They don't skimp on having the equipment and manpower here. Won't share details because it is security related. But worth noting that this hotel was hit by a terrorist bomber some time back.

Great hotel if you're on business trip. Big room with bath tub, nice restaurants with great food. But quite a boring place for holiday trip as the swimming pool is small, no children facilities and not within walking distance to malls. Going in and out also takes time due to high security.

Nice and comfy place. Staff is friendly and very helpful. A perfect place for bussiness stay, not so much for family. Food selection pretty varied, taste is good. Overall a great experience.

The best business hotel I've stayed in Jakarta. Great location, super spacious rooms and less crowded vs Hyatt/Raffles. The service is one of the best in class. Definitely a preferred business stay place.

There staff was so far beyond anything I've seen in terms of helpfulness and friendliness. It's a marvel to behold. The rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable. The food in executive lounge was excellent, and the service equally excellent. It's the kind of hotel you really don't want to leave it's so relaxing.

Good place for Hotel Dining. Sailendra served one of the best hotel dining in town. You can use selected credit card to get offer buy 1 get 1 for the weekend. Oxtail soup is the best here. For the hotel itself, it is not a new hotel, you can see the classic interior here.

Good hotel, good location. We went to syailendra restaurant. The restaurant was good. Many options of dish but not really phenomenal taste. Overall, it's a good place.

The hotel itself is slightly outdate yet the quality of the service, central location and amenities made up for the stars. The experience of staying at a hotel is, after all, made based on memories. We had a happy memory staying there. Room size is bigger than the newer hotel. Security is tight like an airport.

I love staying here, I stayed at the Executive Room with Executive Access which was very useful for us to grab some drink or snack my son love the bathtub. And also we had some breakfast. The breakfast was at Syailendra. Which is completed my experience. I have many times ate lunch and dinner there. But never breakfast. But for this time, I really recommend the breakfast there. Too bad the jacuzzi for women is out of order.

Room was nice, staff was friendly and helpful. They give you welcoming snack. But the pool was small. I mean pretty small. Food was fantastic. But if you're looking to enjoy the room and the facility of the hotel, not really recommended. But if you're travelling and want to explore Jakarta with a 5 star hotel, this is for you. Thanks!

I came here for the buffet. Foods aren't that good but some are pretty good. I liked the oxtail soup and the beef teppanyaki. The main problem here is the cleanliness because I saw a cockroach running in between bowl of foods. The plates are kind of dirty. The staffs there are very friendly. Overall experience is 4/10.

Went there just to attend an event. So it was just a short visit and I didn't get the change to explore a lot of their facilities. The staffs are friendly and helpful. From the outside, it looks modern and minimalist, but the interior has more details to it and there's an old fashion vibes. From the Lobby to the main entrance, there's a red carpet, it's nice though.

Was not as great as it used to be. Restroom was not monitored. The cutlery were not properly clean. Food was good.

Very poorly maintained. Not a happy stay. Esp disappointed with breakfast timings and the way serving spoons are taken away at close time. Sunday breakfast shld be leisurely.

This is a nice hotel, it's clean and well maintained. The service is reasonably good and especially the morning crew at the lobby Cafe.

Room is spacious and clean. The toilet is also spacious and the bathtub is comfortable. However, there was a bad stench in the shower cubicle. The breakfast spread was good and the food/fruit was fresh. The security is good. Recommended.

Great experience in the executive Lounge and huge breakfast buffet in the main restaurant. Very friendly service. Would like to stay overnight here again.

Spacious room and good in hotel dining. Good for biz trips. The mandatory security checks are a little hassle and a little unsettling though.

Went here for a friend's wedding party. The location is pretty good but will be very jammed during weekdays. The hotel looks pretty good and the ballroom is nice. The buffet dinner for the party was good and probably one of the best I've eaten. There were still more parking space available when I reach there and I was 30min late. So I would say that they have a lot of space available which is good for wedding party!

I hope mdn also could get a high building like this.

I am still staying in this hotel as I am writing this review, as a reflection of the dismay I am feeling now. Will be checking out on 3rd January 2013.1st Day check in, at 3pm, the Suite that I booked for my family is still not ready for us to move in. As a compensation we were given a hearty snack at the Club Lounge. Thank you for that. But we were told that from 2 Jan till 6th Jan the lounge will be closed, so the benefit bestowed by the room is not fulfilled. They try to replace us to have our lounge access to Blue Martini though. Finally when the room is ready and we entered, found that the room given was different from the picture. Nice but old compared to the picture in the website. The flush for the toilet in the powder room is also slightly damaged, but kudos to the maintenance team they came within 15 min. The turndown service is great too! Joined the NYE Party down in lobby around 10pm. One of the worst I have seen, thank goodness didn't spend money on it. Left at 10.23 pm to do countdown in the room instead. Second day, breakfast time in the ballroom since they had the NYE party the night before at the lobby and usual restaurant. The crowd was so overwhelming that guests need to share tables with other guests, though each tables are quite big. Food quality is embarrassing. Then during the regular cleaning up, fresh towels were not given without any notice, and my wife only found out after she has showered.

Over-protective hotel with overrated security. Breakfast wasn't good enough for so-called a five-star hotel. Found cheaply made sushi and had to wait to get fresh juice. Not to mention the mediocre quality of towel, soap and shampoos in bathroom, compared to its 2 million rate per night.

Security over reacting. They ask to leave people who park infront of rajawali building. "hello, I just waiting my wife and its not your teritory".
