Had a wonderful stay at The Dharmawangsa. From the moment I arrived, the check-in experience was seamless and welcoming. Lisa was incredibly helpful when she assisted with an early check-in and offered a thoughtful room upgrade option, both of which were greatly appreciated.
Breakfast was another highlight. Unlike many five-star hotels that focus on variety, The Dharmawangsa seems to prioritize quality over quantity. The selection was not overly extensive, but every dish was exceptionally well executed with high-quality ingredients. I particularly enjoyed the rösti, cured salmon, and the warm food stations.
What truly stood out, however, was the service. I had the pleasure of meeting Ahmadi, who has been with the hotel for 27 years. Throughout breakfast, the staff anticipated every need. I hardly had to leave my seat to refill my food or beverages, as they consistently offered assistance before I even had to ask.
The entire experience felt personalized, warm, and genuinely thoughtful. The level of hospitality was exceptional and made my stay memorable despite being only one night. I am truly grateful to the team and look forward to returning in the future.

We stayed at this hotel on our way back from 7 weeks in Europe. Everything here was excellent, from the initial check-in to the spacious room and comfortable bed, to the lovley temprature pool in a nice quiet garden setting. We had a wonderful aromatherapy massage with Diani who was a lovley lady and a very good therapist, making sure the treatment was firm enough and that we were comfortable during the treatment. We had a beautiful meal in the restaurant, and are now ready to make our way back home feeling refreshed and recharged.

Stayed at The Dharmawangsa recently and had such a lovely experience. The service was exceptional from start to finish. I was staying with my husband while still breastfeeding, so every few hours I had to pump and ask the butlers to store my milk in the freezer. Even in the middle of the night, they were always responsive and warm.
Special thanks as well to Mas Anto at the restaurant for being super friendly and helpful with menu recommendations based on our preferences. Everything he suggested was amazing, and honestly all the food we tried was sooo good!
We also previously visited Majapahit Lounge for coffee and were kindly shown around the hotel highlights by Mas Arief Abdillah, who shared a bit of The Dharmawangsa’s history and even helped us find photo spots & poses. Sadly didn’t get to meet him again during this stay.
Before checkout, we picked up our 2-year-old son to play around the hotel, and one of the butlers, Mba Kinan, saw me carrying him and later surprised him with a coloring book, crayons and a piggy bank. Such a thoughtful gesture! Truly felt the warmth and hospitality here.

We spent our Lebaran holiday doing a staycation at The Dharmawangsa Jakarta ✨🤍 and it felt like such a different kind of experience.
From the moment we checked in, everything felt very personal. The receptionist explained everything clearly and even escorted us to the room.
The biggest highlight for me is the service. Everyone is extra caring, extra helpful, and super friendly and it feels very consistent, like the training is really well done across all staff.
The room is quite spacious, clean, and comfortable. We chose the executive room, and it already comes with a bathtub 🛁
We also tried the gym, it’s well equipped and the machines are in good condition 💪
The pool area is really nice too, very shady and relaxing 🌿 perfect to just chill while ordering some snacks like fried banana 🍌
Our stay included breakfast. The buffet selection isn’t that much, but you can also order from their menu which has quite a lot of options 🍽️
For the food overall, it’s pretty standard, nothing too special, but still enjoyable.
Overall, a really pleasant and calming stay.

Can't say thank you enough for the staffs. I lost my ring at the ballroom when I attend the company gathering and they helped me to find it (even late at night! ).
I will surely recommend this hotel to all my relatives and colleagues. Their hospitality is top notch, the facility is so well maintained and the food tastes great as well!

Rooms were large and well appointed, good bed and working area, strong Wi-Fi.
Breakfast and food options in the hotel were good.
Brilliant gym with new techno gym equipment, spacious pool for lounging or laps.

I coordinated a large group trip to Jakarta this March, and our team had the privilege of staying at The Dharmawangsa. We cannot express enough gratitude for the outstanding hospitality provided by the entire staff — from the moment we began coordinating our stay, the team went above and beyond to ensure a seamless and unforgettable experience for our group.
A special thank you to Ina, Diah, Faris, Basly, Irwhan, Lisa, Ahmadi, Riyan, Sandra, and the rest of the incredible staff, who handled every detail with professionalism and warmth. Their dedication made the logistics of our visit effortless (multiple room bookings, airport transfers, meeting rooms and event space, special requests etc etc), allowing us to focus on our trip’s purpose while feeling truly cared for.

As I walked from the door, the place was magical from the Smile of the guy at the entrance to the worm greeting from the reception to the smooth check in that had this beautiful upgrade with amazing fruits and chocolate. It doesn’t get more comfortable than that but I slept onor the beautiful smell that was all over the hotel. I will not forget the delicious food I had in the restaurant or especially that special secret bloody Mary that they made for me specially it is something I would fly back for.

It is a classy hotel with a beautiful garden and an amazing pool. They have very good services and nice & frindly staff, many thanks to Arief, Abdillah, Affan, Faisal & Clara. It is positioned in a nice and clean neighborhood, pretty close to the important Jakarta touristic objectives.

My stay at The Dharmawangsa was truly exceptional. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. The location is ideal. The cuisine at the restaurant is absolutely delicious and of high quality. But the real highlight of this hotel is the exceptional quality of service. A big congratulations to the entire team for their professionalism. Amazing service as always. Big props to Mas Anto for booking me at the terrace today and Mas Arief B for the hospitality. I’m a regular and they always take care of me here. View and ambiance is amazing as always. One of the best places in Jaksel for sure!

It is a beautiful hotel with old world glamour. Really appreciated Ahmadi in the restaurant Jakarta. His service was delightful and courteous. I felt that they really look after you. The rooms are royal and beautiful. There is this feel of royalty all over.

Wonderful stay. The hotel is a touch dated, but had no impact whatsoever on our trip. Staff was great and helpful — 1 and the room quite large. The Restaraunt staff, particularly is the morning, were wonderful. The masseuse (Dai? ) and AHMADI during breakfast were there to dote on us at every moment — and learned our preferences. Very grateful to the staff and hotel for such an excellent stay.

The Dharmawangsa stay was a fabulous one from start to finish. While the property was undoubtedly beautiful and full of charm, it was the service that truly set it apart. Everyone from check-in desk with Muhammad Arief Basly’s efficient, hospitable and friendly service setting us at ease straight away to Hamam at the front lobby with friendly and efficient service to Ahmadi Tsam in the restaurant and the numerous others in restaurants and housekeeping, the service was in a word exceptional. This despite a very busy weekend with two weddings at the venue. Definitely a hotel I would return to if in Jakarta. The food was of excellent quality and the breakfast in particular highly recommended.

I decided to stay at the Dharmawangsa in Jakarta having stayed at the hotel when I lived in Jakarta 8 years ago with my family. It is an incredible hotel and is a must-stay for anyone staying in Jakarta. The staff are the most lovely and welcoming I have ever experienced and will always make you feel at home. The rooms are beautiful, with the hotel inspired by Indonesian culture. We didn’t get to see this on this occasion (as our stay was relatively short) but you must grab some chocolate martinis with gamelan being played in the background in the lobby! A special shoutout goes to Ahmadi who was so friendly and generous with us at breakfast. He brought us many Indonesian fruits which we loved and always wore the largest smile on his face. My family and I will always love this hotel and would highly recommend this to anyone in Jakarta.
