I travel for business on a very regular basis in Asia and South East Asia. This hotel offers excellent service, is well managed and has good facilities. It also has easy access from the airport. I have stayed in many hotels in Jakarta over the years and would rank this above the Grand Hyatt and close to the Mandarin in terms of service and attention to detail. Room Tip: The views from either side are good.

All I can say about this hotel is that it is grand! Love the layout… and the staff are really friendly and helpful. They will always greet you with a smile and make you feel special. The room I stayed in was fantastic! Very spacious and comfortable. A bit dimly lighted but I like it that way. Security is tight, complete with x-rays and metal detectors… access to and from the airport is quick as the entrance to the highway is close. 2 malls are close by and gives the added convenience.

Pengalaman menyenangkan saat berkuliner berbuka puasa di resto hotelnya. Makanannya beraneka ragam variasi dan citra rasanya. Suasana tempat sejuk dan berkesan cerah berkelas premium. Untuk pilihan makanan ada mulai dari barbeque dengan variasi daging yg bermacam-macam, soup berselera ala sop buntut, makanan laut sangatlah mewah, baby lobster menjadi pilihan utama, ditambah pilihan udang merah, kerang-kerangan hijau ala mister bean sekaligus pilihan kaviar, mau yang hijau atau yang merah, gimana sukanya dehh… terakhir menu desert dengan pilihan buah-buahan segar, cake yang bercita rasa tinggi dan es krim nya tuh yang susah dilupakan sampai sekarang… pokoknya coba deh… gaez…! ajieb bin maknyusss…

Located on Jalan Asia-Africa, the hotel is very nice, I love the place and the concept, the rooms are clean and specious. I had buffet in there and the food is up to mark. Western food was very delicious, the local dishes were also nice. The most important was the variety of dessert, too many choices and all were well served. The toilets are also very grandiose and clean. Just eat lah.

One of the nicest hotels I've stayed in Jakarta and I've stayed at many. The atrium is superbly decorated and very comfortable. The moment you walked in you are hit with fragrance of Easter Lily scent. Softly and then ever more present.

The staff are all amazing, so friendly and make a huge effort to greet us with our names. The restaurants serve great food. We are impressed.

Had event in this hotel, everything went well, the staff was very friendly and helpful. I also like their beautiful design interior, and last but not least. The cafe was so good… a very nice hotel to stay and and have an event.

A luxury hotel to relax from the stress of Jakarta.

Fine place to stay if you got ample disposable income. Too lavish and over the top interior for my liking, but some might find it a great spot for photo ops with many details and dramatic lighting in every corner. Service is excellent.

The Cafe in Mulia is buffet with an extensive selection of quality food, great flavors and my favorite the sushi bar and the desert selection with over 60 plus different deserts very well presented, definitely a place to visit if you are in town… never been disappointed every time I go there…

A very good hotel, quite expensive but very good.

Have been there during an Oil & Gas conference. It's a great place for international event like that. The hotel also has great ballroom & sofas for rest.

Rather old but still impressive and well maintained. One of the best 5 stars in Jakarta and my guesses who stay here always give their compliments. Many restaurants to choose from and most are very popular. Security inside and within the compound are very tight yet professional.

Very good hotel, Good choice of breakfast and good service. Clean room. Even manager is at front desk to make sure all good. My stay was very good and only small issue I faced. I will recommend this hotel to other and I will come again to check…

Makanannya enak dan sangat komplit, mulai dari Sashimi, sushi, bbq, Padang food, Korean Food, Indian, Indonesia food sampai desertnya pun enak dan sangat banyak pilihan. Untuk ambience, lumayan ramai ya walaupun hari biasa. So rada berisik dengan chit chat orang2. Tetapi itu terbayarkan dengan makanan yg enak dan great friendly service.

Wow… enough said. But to be more specific. I really felt the staff was genuinely friendly. I’ve been to other expensive hotels and yes they treat you nice but I always get that empty feeling like they’re supposed to. Not here, the people went out of their way to be nice to you. The room cleaner left an extra apple for me because he noticed I liked them. The lady in the restaurant noticed that my mom wasn’t able to get her usual juice so she went ahead and got one for her without my mom asking for it. It was just little things like that. If you are able to, spend some days here. It was a real nice experience and the gym… oh wow the gym. My local golds gym doesn’t even come close to this gym. The best way for me to sum up my stay there is just wow.

Beautiful, comfortable and clean. Food is diverse.
A range of fitness equipment, including swimming pool, steam Songna, etc. For you to enjoy. The waiter is very people feel very good faith.

Excellent high class hotel, often used for conferences and exhibitions. Centrally located, within 20 minute drive to some of the main Jakarta attractions such as the national monument and museums. The on site restaurants are great, especially the buffet selection at The Cafe and the Japanese restaurant.

Nice luxury hotel near Senayam area. A bit old and stuffy. Like it but do not love it.

Come to the pub, actually. And suddenly I found myself in one of the nicest club on Jakarta. Live music at the stage wonderfully performed and the cocktails are perfect. I'm an old styled; so my favorite are going back to Long Island, Singapore Sling, and Mojito… And in Mulia, they are wonderful.

Something about Mulia Hotel is you always want to come back. I think is the respect and greeting that you recieve from the staffs its make you welcome. Even it and old hotel its well kept and clean also the restroom. I will surely recommend to everyone at least a visit.

Saturday July 29, My wife had a Birthday celebration at Bleu8 on the fifth floor. (At least three times a year we had party on one of the Mulia restaurants; table8, orient, the cafe) The food was standard okay but the Hotel staffs specifically Maurice and Alex, both are foreigners in charge for the restaurants? were inconsiderate to the level beyond acceptance and ruined the party. The place was empty we were the only customer, a table for about 15 people. First They told us to remove the flower arrangements on the table as they said we can not put anything on the table (the flower was a gift from one of the guest attending). Secondly, when we were about to have dinner, the whole room lighting was dimmed to a level of where we hardly can see what we were eating. They said it is the standard brightness. So stupid reason! It was a mistake to chose Mulia for the Birthday Party. Waste of money and stupid management policy! If the restaurant was full of guest I would accept but We were the only guests! I never experience such issue in the past three years of birthday party. I think the above two names mentioned above need some good brain treatment of how to maintain customer.

Best hotel in Jakarta, very opulent with real 5 star service. A little bit old fashioned but in a nice way. You feel at home here. Amazing restaurants and world class facilities. Highly recommended!

I stay here at 10 floor for 2weeks in this month. I have a good view, swiming pool view. They give a surprise birthday cake cause when im there my partner have a birthday. Very nice to a complimentary a guest. Everything is excellent, perfect and nice! They staff so friendly and very helpful. The housekeeping also did job so perfect. Laundry also good. Breakfast is nice and many choice not just indonesian food but any japanese food, hongkong meatballs, western food, fresh juice and all nice. They pastry so delicious and fresh. They have a big pool at 5 floor. They serve fresh juice or another bavarage and food also with charges of course. They have many and big lift also fast. The location close to go everywhere in central Jakarta or south Jakarta also close to west Jakarta and Airport. Totally no regret and perfect. Thank you mulia hotel and all staff ☺

Jan 2015 — Large room and luxurious hotel! I had a great stay here with great service from everyone in the lobby to the in-room dining. Room and toilet were spacious, and clean. Security is tight. Would highly recommend!

Very grand hotel. Everything about the place says "luxury". Good staff too. Food is great — huge selection. Breakfast will keep you full till dinner.

Stay is nice. However they don't give early check ins so if you are reaching early in the morning, you will have to wait for hours before you get your room.

1. Its look like entering a embassy instead of a hotel, too many guard officer 2. Too much rules,, the worst is at the pool. It can only enter by 2 person. How if you have two children. Hellow? (the hotel try to earn more money from charges) they prohibit my children and my friends children swim at the pool (total not more than 10 kids). Whereas we have 30 rooms booked at that time… wtf! Its not suitable to stay there if u stay with children. 3. Doesn't have hospitality (compare to other famous hotel that I've been stayed). They should learn from other hotel I think. 4. The smile from their staff is just a "formality", doesn't come from their heart 5. Trying to keep their mistake and have no integrity. 6. If u having breakfast,, u better check ur bill well bcoz at my case my boss' Room Number appears at a bill that signed by the restaurat staf. It shoud be only the guest who sign the bill. (abusing) 7. Some of the room, the heater didn't work properly 8. Very not satisfied with their service.

Solid upscale hotel. The decor was a bit gaudy but the rooms were quiet and service was fine.

Despite their marketing stating being one of the best business hotels in Jakarta, my experience was far from satisfactory. This is the only hotel that would not provide a late check out until 2 PM despite being not highly occupied. They will charge 25% if you check at 2 PM. It seems that is also impossible to drink red wine in the room; so my suggestion is to smuggle it into your luggage. It is clear that this hotel lacks internationally trained staff as it is not part of any international chain. Despite my complaints several days ago, the hotel still has not been able to provide any feedback. My advice is to avoid this hotel and try to stay at the Mandarin Oriental, Shangri-La, Ritz Carlton or Dharmwangsa Hotel. The guest service in these hotels is much better.

I have stayed at the Mulia countless times. It is still the most opulent and relaxing hotel in Jakarta. Every time I stay at any other Jakarta hotel it reinforces just how nice the Mulia is. For me, the hotel restaurants and buffet are second to none in Jakarta for quality and variety.
