Such a wasted potential.
The hotel looks nice until you enter the room, which reeks of cigarette smoke (non smoking). All coming from the bathroom - I think I smoked a pack just from second hand inhalation. Disgusting.
Talking of the bathroom, it's absolutely rancid. Dirty, moldy corners, unclean toilet. Urgh...
Then the room - the sheets had marks, i asked for new ones which had even more yellow marks, spots, and stains. Yes, they were laundried, but unpleasant nonetheless.

The hotel is definitely older than 2025 as written on the front door - perhaps the brand just changed then. Everything shows signs of wear and tear and it's obvious the management is not inclined to provide good maintenance of the facilities. Which is a pity, because it shows good potential on pics, the rooms are large, and the location is great.

Oh and by the way, the wifi is shit.

I had another great stay here! This was my second time, and I came with my family. Before check-in, I contacted the admin to request a lower ground floor room, and they responded quickly and very kindly. Really appreciate the prompt and friendly communication.
The room was clean and comfortable, and the amenities were more than sufficient for our needs. Everything felt well-prepared and convenient. The location is also very strategic, close to Senen and Gambir train stations.
Definitely a pleasant stay, and I would happily come back again!

"I recently spent a night at Corvel Be Homy in Kwitang. According to the inscription on the wall, the hotel is quite new, having been established just last year in 2025. I’d actually done a bit of research on YouTube beforehand, and the vlogs made it look quite promising—including this one.
However, I have to admit that my actual experience didn't quite live up to the online hype. The cleanliness was a bit of a letdown; I found leftovers from the previous guest still in the trash bin, and there was a noticeable amount of dust under the bed. On top of that, the hot water was barely lukewarm, the bathroom walls seemed neglected, and I even had to request tissues from the staff as they weren't provided in the room.
To be fair, at a rate under IDR 250k, I understand that 'you get what you pay for. ' Still, the gap between what was shown in the vlogs and the reality of the stay was a bit jarring.
On a positive note, the transparent elevator is a really cool, iconic feature. It’s just a shame that the rest of the building feels a bit poorly maintained. It’s disappointing that a place established in 2025 already feels this worn down by early 2026. "
