Choska Residence

Great Location, Friendly Staff, and Cultural Touches.
We stayed at Choska Residence, a boutique hotel just an 8-minute walk from Plaza Indonesia and Grand Indonesia, and about 14 minutes to Thamrin City. The location is super convenient if you're planning to explore Central Jakarta on foot.
The room we had was a bunk-style room with basic amenities—nothing fancy, but definitely worth the rate if you just need a place to shower and sleep. Most of our time was spent outside, so it suited our needs perfectly.
One of the highlights was the rooftop, which offers a nice city view—great for relaxing in the evening. The decor reflects Indonesian culture, which adds a unique and local touch to the stay.
Staff were all friendly and helpful, making the overall experience smooth and welcoming.
Definitely recommended if you're looking for a clean, affordable, and well-located place to stay in Jakarta!

I really enjoy staying at this hotel. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, and the superior room I booked comfortably accommodated me and my two friends. While it wasn’t very spacious, we rested well and had enough space to organize and pack our belongings.

My husband and I stayed at Choska Residence for two nights in a standard double room, and we had a very pleasant experience. The room itself is basic, but it's very decent and offers everything you need for a comfortable stay. The amenities are modern and well-maintained, with a nice touch of convenience, including a kettle and a small fridge. The bed was comfortable, and the room was kept clean and tidy throughout our stay.
One of the standout features of the property is its prime location. It’s situated in a central area of Jakarta, making it easy to explore the city. We were near several malls and a wide variety of local food options, so we never had to go far for a good meal.
The neighborhood itself is peaceful and safe, giving us peace of mind during our short visit. Overall, Choska Residence offers great value for the price, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a well-located stay in Jakarta.

I recently stayed at this hotel and found it to be a great choice for its location. It’s conveniently situated within walking distance of Plaza Indonesia and Grand Indonesia, making it ideal for shopping and dining. There’s also a convenience store just a 3-4 minute walk away, which is really handy.
The room itself is compact but comfortable—perfect for solo travelers or those traveling light. It has all the essentials needed for a short stay. Overall, a practical and convenient option, especially if you’re looking for a place in the heart of the city.

This cozy little spot is perfect for anyone looking for a comfortable and peaceful stay. The rooms are beautifully designed with thoughtful decor that gives a warm, homey vibe.
The beds are incredibly comfortable, with fluffy pillows and high-quality linens that ensure a restful night. The location is ideal, quiet enough for restful nights but close to local food vendors and big malls. The staff is friendly and accommodating.
Overall, its a hidden gem, perfect for a short getaway or even a longer stay. Highly recommended for solo travelers, couples, or anyone seeking a tranquil and delightful retreat!

I absolutely recommending this place. The room was not only impeccably clean but also exuded a delightful aroma that made it feel welcoming. It's an ideal spot for a short stay, perfect for small families or couples seeking a cozy getaway. The location could not be better—right in the heart of Jakarta, making it incredibly convenient to access malls and a variety of attractions. Additionally, the staff were exceptionally friendly, ensuring our comfort while also respecting our privacy. I would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone looking for a pleasant experience.

The ambience is so private when you step in the main gate. Walk in straight to the lobby, and you’ll see a set of comfort big sofa and artistic deco. You’ll get free complementary drink (1x) and they served the best customer service! As for the room, pretty much small but surprisingly it was complete, everything essentials is there.

My stay was overall okay, though there were a few drawbacks. The room, as advertised, didn’t have a window, and unfortunately, it was often damp and not very clean – I even found hair from a previous guest in the bed. The bathroom also left something to be desired: there was only one toilet roll, no brush, and the showerhead was difficult to use. However, basic toiletries were provided, which was a plus.
The staff were friendly, though communication in English was a bit challenging. As a welcome gesture, there was a drink for two. The breakfast buffet was fine, but you had to go early to get a good selection, and unfortunately, only instant coffee and tea were available.
The internet connection was spotty and quite slow. Additionally, the accommodation was very noisy. On the positive side, the rooftop terrace with its fantastic view was definitely a highlight! The central location was also a major plus, with easy access to many spots in Jakarta. Overall, probably fair value for the price, but I’d recommend this place with reservations.

Choska Residence in Jakarta is a hidden gem for anyone seeking comfort and convenience. The rooms are well-maintained and cozy, making it easy to relax after a long day. One of the standout features is the peaceful atmosphere, despite being situated in a bustling city. The nearby amenities, including restaurants and shopping areas, are just a short walk away, which adds to the overall convenience. Whether you’re in town for business or pleasure, Choska Residence provides great value for the price. Would definitely stay here again!

Rooms here are comfortable and clean. The staff are very friendly and helpful too. There is no sink in G01 which is a bit odd but everything else is good. It's also near to Grand Indonesia Mall which is very convenient if you want to go shopping.

A very nice and comfortable budget friendly place to stay. The location is very strategic, right in the center of Jakarta. The room was clean, neat, and comfortable, just like what you would expect in a hotel room. The service was great and we were able to check in early without additional fee. All in all, it was a pleasant experience to stay here.

Booked this hotel last minute and it was perfect! The staff were really welcoming and gave us a free welcome drink. The rooftop view is amazing and the food at the hotel restaurant is well priced. They serve food until late, which was great for us as we arrived so late. The room was clean and comfortable and room service was provided in the middle of our stay — fresh towels, toiletries, bedding, water. Love having a fridge in the room. Our shower was initially not working properly, but it was fixed within a matter of hours. Would really recommend staying here!

Excellent place to stay in Jakarta. We checked in late in the evening and they were extremely accommodating. The rooms and bathrooms are very clean and spacious. The toilet in the room is also very private compared to other hotels I've stayed in. Located close to many public transport links and attractions. Would definitely recommend and stay with them again.

We stayed here for 3 days. Room is clean and well lit. I love the ambience and the view on the 3rd floor where you can chill. The location are close to some destinations and to the center of the city, staffs are amazing and courteous. The one thing I think that needs improvement is the toilet there is no sink in GO1. But overall it's good, it's really recommended for short and long stay.

Room is small but designed efficiently with a loft bed for two and a living area underneath. Everything is clean and well kept with neutral light colors relaxing to the eyes. The room comes with a normal sized fridge so that's definitely a plus point! Staff are very helpful and friendly.
