The pictures in the ad must be very old becos the place is the same but the rooms and location looks a bit very old and not properly maintained with the pool very dirty and not for use and the rooms with insects and lizards was not a pleasant stay.

The forest is great.
The staff is nice, welcoming and smiling.
The food was well cooked, savoury and nocely accomodated to my vegetarian preference.
The room was spacious and clean.
I am sorry I have to point out the huge lack of finishing and maintenance in the hotel.
To name a few :
— the room has many apparent cables, althought electricity worked.
— the hot water took 5 minutes to arrive, making us wonder if there was any. So, a waste of water took a warm shower.
— some bricks in the parking were really standing out of the ground level.
— there were about 20 mosquitoes around me while I waited for the check-in time (i arrived around 10am)
— some walls have cracked paintings.
— a window was stuck half closed, so I could not lock it properly. The bottom lock of the rear door was absent.
— some bungalows display a sign « under maintenance » although I would rather name them « abandoned ».
I hope the factual review will encourage the owner to upgrade the hotel. It is a shame to let it deteriorate like this.
Other very positive comments hide the somewhat spooky reality. Again I feel sorry for the nice staff.
