Positives: the hotel area was vast, green, clean, & fresh. I even felt like my stay was like in Malang due to the density of the trees. It is reccommended for those who wanna enjoy forest-like area in Surabaya. Basically the room was spacious, traditional-vibes & clean. The food was fair enough.
Negatives: the air-con in my room didn't work, the key was initially broken but the staffs helped to solve this problem.
Used to be a classic top hotel, now an aged classic hotel, still some charm but beds/bathrooms/AC/electrical fixtures are very outdated, need to renovate. Could be a nice peaceful place to relax but hotel is very focused on groups/receptions/functions, so expect lot of noise, crowds, music and loud speakers in the main area. Don't choose a room with view on the pool if you don't like noise. Dinner buffet has a nice spread. Pool can get crowded with kids, specially on weekends. Staff is kind and helpful.

Old hotel. Love the ambiance and friendly staff. The room needs maintenance, bath tub and toilet is leaking, wallpaper starting to peel off. But still, this is a good place for family staycation because there's so much activity like biking, sight seeing deer, swimming. Please improve the hotel quality. My kid really love staying at this hotel.
