This is a charming, old-style hotel that follows the classic standards of hospitality — simple, unpretentious, and done right. It offers a clean swimming pool, a very well-equipped gym, and an excellent sauna. There’s even free popcorn in the lobby, which is a nice touch.
The restaurant serves good food and often features a live band, adding to the relaxed atmosphere. It's also family-friendly, with some toys available in the lobby and a pool that kids will enjoy.
Rooms are thoughtfully equipped — clean bathroom with a bathtub, quality shampoo and soap, a fridge, boiler, and air conditioning that all work perfectly. There’s a large wardrobe too, giving the room a spacious and functional feel. Honestly, this hotel offers more than many places that charge twice the price. It’s really complete.
My only drawback is the location. As someone unfamiliar with Surabaya and without a vehicle, I found the area a bit removed from the city center and not particularly lively.
Also, in the suite, there were no power plugs near the bed — a small inconvenience.
There is also a good complete karaoke room.
Rooms are sound proud well. I couldn't hear the live band in the floor under me for example.
Overall, a great value hotel that delivers on comfort and amenities in a classic way.
