Kouzui Homestay

Of all the hotels I've tried in Indonesia, even the cheap ones, this one was by far the worst. To begin with, you should know that even pets will have better comfort. If you sleep here, prepare to be cold and have a sore back all night. The mattress is as hard as concrete. As for sheets, why have them when the room is cold? Also, don't expect towels, drinking water, soap, or a locker to keep your belongings safe; it's really not necessary. As for sinks, why have them when you can shower and brush your teeth at the same time? The decor, let's just say, is something we can do without, right? Also, be aware that if you sleep here and want to eat somewhere after 10 p. M. The owner will lock you out. So it's best to have a plan B just in case, because there are no numbers unless you ask directly first. Finally, the staff is rude, accusing you of disturbing other guests over a simple bathroom door handle that isn't properly closed. In short, it's better to pay a few dollars more than to stay here. The comment just before mine should have taught me a lesson.

This place is an absolute must-visit… if you're writing a survival horror screenplay. Forget glamping, this is "cramping" at its finest! The "pods" are so cozy, they've thoughtfully provided floor mats to soften the cold walls. And the dangling electric wires? Pure ambiance, perfect for that "cabin in the woods" vibe… where the cabin is clearly condemned.
The toilet? A true marvel of engineering. Who needs a sink when you have a perpetually leaking toilet? It's a two-in-one experience: toilet and bidet, all in one germ-infested package! And the shower? Oh, the shower! It's a bidet… but bigger! Because why have a proper shower when you can just spray yourself down in a room that's clearly designed for something else entirely?
Honestly, I'm surprised they didn't throw in a complimentary tetanus shot with the booking. If you're looking for an "experience" that you'll never forget, this is it. But if you value your health, sanity, or basic hygiene, I'd recommend sleeping in your car. Or, better yet, find a decent hotel. Seriously, avoid this place like it's the plague. You've been warned.
