I arrived late in the afternoon and upon check-in, the receptionist told me that they have a program called ‘Guest of The Day’, and I was selected. It was a pleasant surprise after a long day. They upgraded my room from a Deluxe Executive to an Executive and there were complimentary snacks and a warm welcome words from Luminor inside the room. That was very sweet of them. The Executive room was spacious, modern, and comfortable. There’s also water jug inside the room and water dispenser on the corridor, so you won’t get dehydrated during your stay here.
We went down to the restaurant to try the buffet dinner. The restaurant was crowded and the food was delicious, well worth the price. Breakfast the next day was also varied and delicious. All the hotel and restaurant staff were very friendly, helpful, and kind. Oh, by the way, they have limited parking, so valet parking is available.
One thing that could be improved, it would be better if they placed guests with non-smoking room requests on non-smoking floors as well. When I booked, I requested a non-smoking room, and although there were “No Smoking” warning signs in the corridor, the smell of smoke was very strong throughout. When we went down and asked the receptionist for the first time, she said the 7th floor was indeed a smoking floor. We told her that there was a “No Smoking” sign in the corridor though (? ), she still insisted that it was indeed a smoking floor.

This hotel is truly excellent—very comfortable, clean, and all goods.
Its strategic location is a big plus, just a short walk from a supermarket and souvenir shops. It takes only about 25 minutes to get to Juanda Airport and around 20 minutes to reach Purabaya Bus Terminal.
The breakfast offers a wide variety of options—so many that I didn’t even know what to choose! Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for anyone staying in Surabaya.

Being recognized as Guest of the day was the cherry on top. I was upgraded to a room two levels higher than my original booking. The service was warm, attentive and genuinely personalized. Special shoutout to Mbak Rieke at the receptionist who explained everything so clearly and made the check-in seamless, thank you for that! Thank you for making my stay so special. I’ll be back for sure.
