My family and I stayed at Vasa Hotel this weekend, and it was truly a pleasant and comfortable experience from start to finish.
The hotel offers a great balance of comfort, cleanliness, and modern facilities. The room was spacious, well-maintained, and very comfortable. It was perfect for resting, especially for us as first-time visitors to Surabaya. Housekeeping did an excellent job throughout our stay, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel felt calm and welcoming.
What really made our stay stand out, however, was the excellent service from the staff, especially Zein. Zein was incredibly friendly, professional, and attentive. He went above and beyond to ensure everything was smooth and enjoyable, always greeting us with a warm smile and genuine hospitality. His service truly reflects the high standards of Vasa Hotel and made us feel well taken care of throughout our stay.
The location is also very convenient, making it easy to get around the city, whether for business or leisure. Overall, our experience at Vasa Hotel exceeded expectations, thanks to the comfortable environment and outstanding service.
I would highly recommend Vasa Hotel to anyone visiting the area and will definitely choose to stay here again in the future.

The experience to stay at Vasa Hotel was really over my expectation.
We've got upgraded our room to 1 Bed Apt. The room was so spacious and full of appliance. To be frank this is our first time to be upgrade when m we stay at 5 star hotel. Unfortunately we didn't try the lounge, but we use the gym and playground in the evening. We take our breakfast at 209 Dining and served very well and fully attentive by Aziz. My favorite dish during breakfast is roasted chicken. My only advise is to upgrade the TV to smart TV and bigger screen, since I bring my nintendo switch to play game in our room. I will consider to rebooked here again for my next vacation. Thank you Vasa Hotel for giving us wonderful experience.

A very nice 2-nigh-stay experience. Mr Allan welcome us with friendly and professional greeting when checked us in. Room is clean & spacious with sofa and bench. Every appliances like water dispenser, stoves, refrigerator, and also aircom works well with decent lighting placements. We also have enjoy the delicious breakfast options with lots of variation from traditional to international dishes. The hotel location also not so far from Ciputra world mall if you need something, it’s just like 10 minutes away by car. Love to stay here for my next visit to Surabaya.

In terms of comfort, the room is well-designed with a clear separation between the sleeping area and the cleaning area such as the shower and toilet, ensuring privacy. Elevator access is easy and convenient as well.
One downside is that the road in front of the hotel is often congested, especially during peak hours. Additionally, the price can feel a bit on the expensive side, although it still matches the quality of the facilities provided.
Overall, Vasa Hotel is a great choice for guests seeking comfort, complete amenities, and a lively atmosphere—just keep in mind the traffic outside and the slightly premium pricing.

Special thanks to Mr. Samsul Huda from the cleaning team for his thorough and friendly service. He paid great attention to small details, such as arranging personal items and keeping the bathroom spotless. Service like this truly made my stay more enjoyable. Highly recommended!

I recently stayed at Vasa Hotel Surabaya for two days, and while the hotel itself is beautiful and the breakfast selection is generous and delicious, what truly made my experience unforgettable was the exceptional service from Bernita.
Every morning, I had a bit of difficulty entering the restaurant due to some issues, but Bernita was always there, ready to assist with a warm smile and patience. Her kindness, professionalism, and friendly attitude made a big difference in my stay. She consistently went out of her way to ensure I felt welcomed and taken care of.
It’s rare to encounter someone who genuinely cares about guests the way Bernita does. I’m certain I wouldn’t have received the same level of care and support at any other hotel. She’s a true asset to the Vasa team.

3rd stay: this time the c/in process was fast. I had problem with the sleeper regulation. I can’t use the sleeper outside the room, they said its for safety matter but I think its just because they want to cut their budget. When I had bfast on 2nd floor I had to wait for sometime for them to refill the fried rice. And 1 of the black uniform chef (chef de partie or demi chef, I guess, or maybe DUMMY chef, LOL) told me that they always wait the food on the line to finish first and they will make a new one (stupid answer in my opinion), u can’t wait until the food finish to make a new one, the food taste was just okay nothing special for 5 stars hotel. And I found a piece of ‘HAIR’ on my plate under the omelete that I order. When I told one of the waiter, the waiter seems not surprise n just said ‘oh iya’ without any apology. Seems like they need to learn more about basic service. And when I share my feelings to the front desk, both the agent and I dont know the other lady whether she is the spv or manager (the chubby old lady) both insisted telling me that the sleeper is room facilities and not guest facilities, so guest can’t take the sleeper outside the room. Seriously they need to learn more about hospitality industry.
So my review for this hotel, the hotel facilities was just OKAY, but the service is so POOR in most of dept. The hotel is 5stars, but the service is so poor.
1st stay :I hated my c/i process.

I recently stayed at Vasa Hotel Surabaya and was thoroughly impressed with every aspect of the experience. From the moment I arrived, the service was warm, professional, and attentive.
The lobby and public areas are elegant and modern, creating a luxurious yet welcoming atmosphere. Check-in was smooth and efficient, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure comfort.
My room was spacious, clean, and beautifully designed, featuring a comfortable bed, premium amenities, and a stunning view of the city. The attention to detail—from the lighting to the bath products—was top-notch.
One of the highlights was the breakfast buffet. The selection was vast, including both Indonesian and international dishes, all fresh and delicious. The staff at the restaurant were incredibly polite and quick to respond to requests.

Great location, easy access to the toll road and city center. Large rooms with plenty of amenities including complementary drinks and snacks. Great breakfast with a large selection of western and asian foods. The only negative comment I have with my stay this time (room 3611) is what appears to be an unclean toilet seat, It could be a cigarette burn. I suggest Vasa housekeeping pay closer attention to the level of its cleaning service.

We have a wonderful stay at Vasa Hotel Surabaya. We booked 3 rooms for 1 night staycation. The rooms are spacious and cozy. The All Day Dining restaurant 209 on the 2nd floor adding more excellent experience for our family, especially the Service we received from Mr. Zein and Ms Benita. Thanks for the chefs for making egg benedicts as we requested. Various menu in the buffe helps our 7 member of the family enjoyed it more in the restaurant. Thanks Vasa Hotel Team!

If there's one area that could be improved, it would be the variety of breakfast options. Adding more fresh, healthy choices would make the experience even better for all guests.

The hotel room is value for money 😍 even you go solo/couple/family is fitted to enjoy your stay. The food is also good, try their dimsum and you won’t regret it! The room and public space is very clean, the also have seasonal decoration that is kinda good for the photos.

A very nice room with daily snacks. And the breakfast menu are amazing. There are plenty of food such as japanese, korean, indonesia, india, and ice cream. And the restaurant staffs are very nice, shot out to Bernita and Zein who are very nice and super helpful. Thank you so much and I cant wait to be back againn!
