For a three-star hotel, the service of the lounge staff was disappointing. The staff body language, way of speaking, and how they serve the guests weren't up to a good service standard. Perhaps, that wasn't their fault as I am certain that the hotel management don't have a good recruitment and development system.
Palm Park is a local brand. I hope they are willing to make improvements so that they can compete with foreign brands.

It's my first time visiting this hotel. I visited this hotel to attend an event designed by Wahid Foundation Jakarta. Overall I like stay at this hotel. The have good room, restaurant and ballroom. The also gave the best service during the event. I like the food and their restaurant. Everyone should try to stay when you visit Surabaya. However, they have to make sure about their lift is normal all the time. Thanks.

I kid you not, if you have no worry about cleanliness and hygiene, please feel free to book here. We stayed just for one night, and it was one of the worst accommodations we've ever stayed at. Checked in very late only to find disgusting rooms with bad smell and TONS OF SMALL COCKROACHES! We had to change the rooms three times. The third room still had cockroaches in the bathroom, so we closed the drainage and the door gap with a bath mat, hoping that those creatures won't come inside the room or worse, to our ears!
Breakfast was mediocre, and damn they even had a dead cockroach on the sushi plate. Finished as soon as we saw it. Had a bad feeling about the breakfast, wish I trusted my gut and didn't take the breakfast.
But the staff is friendly and responsive. And there's a small kind of playground in the lobby. I think that's the only good things of our stay. Never again.
