I had a terrible experience with OYO 204 Blessing Residence, listed on Booking. Com. The property doesn’t even exist in the real world as advertised. While the building is still standing, it looks like a haunted, abandoned place, and the OYO logo has been removed from the front of the hotel. It’s clear that this property is no longer affiliated with OYO, but they are still using their name to mislead customers.
Upon arriving, I was greeted by unprofessional staff who didn’t speak a word of English. All I heard was “sorry, sorry, ” with no solution or assistance offered. The staff admitted that they were no longer part of the OYO brand and that the listing was not valid.
The location is also a nightmare over an hour’s drive from the city center in a desolate, eerie area with no shops, restaurants, or anything around.
When I arrived, the reception staff offered me the same room I had booked, but for three times the price. They claimed to have called the call center to help me, but nothing came of it. The only option they gave me was to book directly at their inflated rate.
I also noticed they are using multiple listings on Booking. Com under different name "OYO Blessing Residence" and "Urbanview Blessing Residences by RedDoorz" with the same photos but varying prices. It seems like a deliberate tactic to lure in guests with a low price, only to overcharge once they arrive.
Okay i've stayed here for almost two weeks and the only complaint I have is about other guests who sometimes are too loud for too long. I get it when you just checked in, you talk with your family members or friends for a bit, that's fine. But sometimes people just keep talking for too long without noticing that the hallways LOUDLY echo their voices. Other than that, the room is adequate, the service is superb, and the location is nice if you prefer a serene gated community.

I booked this place because it’s the closest to the US consulate, as I have an early interview session for the visa application. The place looked very different on Booking. Yeah, it looked very nice, but wait until you get there you will feel it. The price was not even cheap it’s around 300K, and trust me, you could get a very much nicer hotel room in the city with that budget.
The location of the Urbanview Blessing Residence is very far from everywhere, and when I arrived I couldn’t help but be surprised that it is a kost where Indo students normally live and rent monthly. So of course people are hanging around so it can be loud sometimes. The staff was not professional. I asked him to show me the room first I was curious, and he took me to the third floor! The last room at the edge and the rooms around seem scary. I just left straight away without even asking for a refund, and booked a new trusted hotel room in the city centre. I get that the room is big and probably family friendly but it’s just not worthy to be called a hotel if it’s mixed with kos kosan.
