Reviews of Tanjung Kodok Beach Resort
Location and view of the property is amazing. The only reason I'm unhappy with the hotel is we took family room which has 4 beds and a sofa. The room has a small AC on one corner of the room which is 30 feet long. It doesn't even cool the place near the first bed, forget the fourth one which is on the other end. In a place with hot weather, they should have at least 1 ton AC or put 2 half tons on either side of the room. This made our stay very uncomfortable. On complaining they gave us a stand cooler with a big exhaust pipe going into the toilet. The pipe would throw hot air in the bathroom. The only hope is that the toilet exhaust will take all the hot air out. This only helped cool the room a little better than just the AC. At night when we turned off the room lights we didn't realize that it was also connected to the bathroom light and exhaust fan. So the room became hot because the hot air couldn't go out. So we had to sleep with bedroom lights on. We complained at night, electrician came and checked that there's a switch problem and it's all connected to one and nothing could be done. Although there was a separate switch for toilet it didn't work. Next morning we told the reception to change our room. They told they will send electrician, then they said they will ask their supervisor but nothing happened. When we asked again they told all rooms have same problem. Do please do not book their family room.
The staff is polite but couldn't solve our problem. Food was good.
I went on a business trip to Indonesia and stayed at Tanjung Kodok Beach Resort for 3 days. The stay was really magical and exceptional. The staff were really friendly and I enjoyed staying there every bit. They have a great pool facility. Highly recommended.
