This was my second visit to Shalom. The hosts are lovely. The food is delicious and very affordable.
Located in the West Bali Village of Blimbingsari, Shalom offers modest clean facilities including an ensuite bathroom and air conditioning.
There is a warung (store) onsite where you can purchase most extras you may need and order food for breakfast and dinner.
The hosts can arrange for your laundry to be collected and done within about 24 hours.
Blimbingsari is the home of the amazing Pniel Church, the village is surrounded by rainforest, and you can see wild Bali Myna on a regular basis in the village. The village is clean, quiet and tidy. A great escape from the hustle and bustle of Bali life.
There is a local swimming pool complex walking distance from Shalom and a beautiful setting with places to have a picnic lunch — great for children.
It won't be everyone's cup of tea — but I love it in Blimbingsari and would happily come to Shalom every year if I could.

We visited the village on a daytime trip from Singaraga.
We stopped here for some food.
The small warang is well stocked and very clean.
The owner was very nice and was happy to explain some of the areas history.
We hadmie goreng and nasi goreng.
The food was good.

Blimbingsari is the Promises Land indeed. A village with heavenly peace. Shalom is the best homestay we had during 1wk journey in Bali. Very neat & clean. Good food & hospitality.
