Hotel Oriza

On-site parking at the hotel is extremely limited. There are only 2 spaces available for cars, which many guests consider a significant drawback. More space is provided inside for motorcycles, accommodating approximately 20 vehicles. One guest noted that motorcycles can become quite hot due to the outdoor air conditioning unit located above the parking area.

Opinions regarding the staff are mixed. Many guests describe the team members as very friendly, helpful, and prompt, noting that the front desk even assisted with everyday requests, such as lending a fruit knife. However, there are also negative reviews: one guest complained about a rude employee during check-out and issues with Agoda voucher confirmation, while another noted improper behavior from a security guard in the lobby. It was also mentioned that some staff members could be more welcoming.

A security deposit of 50,000 IDR is required upon check-in.

Feedback regarding the Wi-Fi is mixed. Some guests confirm that the network works, while others complain of a slow connection or that the Wi-Fi signal does not reach the rooms, making it necessary to use mobile data.

Guests describe the beds as soft and comfortable, with some rooms providing two pillows per guest (one large and one small). The furnishings in the rooms are minimalist: there is a small desk and chair, although some guests noted that the desk is too narrow for comfortable laptop work. Clothes hangers are also provided in the rooms, but full wardrobes and in-room safes are not available.

The air conditioning has generated numerous complaints. Many guests mention that the AC does not cool the room sufficiently, even when set to 13°C. In one instance, condensation (a leak) was reported, causing water to drip onto the desk. Issues with remote controls running out of battery were also noted.

Rooms are supplied with slippers, toothbrushes, liquid soap, and towels. Some rooms feature a Smart TV with access to YouTube and Netflix, as well as complimentary drinking water. Regarding the bathrooms, many lack a sink (washbasin) and feature only a shower and toilet. The water heating system is inconsistent: while some guests are satisfied with the hot water, others note that it is only lukewarm or does not work at full capacity.

The hotel has an elevator, which sets it apart from other budget options in this price category. However, some guests noted that there is only one elevator and it is quite narrow. It was also mentioned that the corridors and lobby can be dim during the day because the lights are turned off.

Most guests rate the cleanliness positively, describing the rooms as clean and tidy. The lobby features comfortable sofas and a TV. Nevertheless, there are isolated complaints regarding dusty windows and rusty locks in the bathrooms.
