Great location for a hotel! The place is very clean and well maintained, with a beautiful garden that’s truly impressive. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and some of them even speak Dutch.

Very nice hotel grounds and a pool in which you can swim well. The benches by the pool are wood and thus uncomfortable if sitting there a long time. Large and comfortable rooms.
In my room I could not change the setting for the air-conditioning or turn it off at all — I had to turn the electricity off to turn it down. Several sockets did not have power, there was no fridge and also there are no hairdryers. There was no liquid shower gel, just a piece of soap, so if you prefer something different bring your own. The breakfast buffet was okay as in it was not very large. The food did taste good though. They are selling local coffee for 50k per bag which is a steal compared to artisan shops.

My first room had cockroaches crawling out of the bathroom wall. The floor was greasy and covered with black specks of dirt from previous usage. This was not a cleaned room. Looking for the one and only power socket, which is hidden central behind the bed where you can find even more dirt. Building is clearly deteriorating and no sign of repairs. Noisy fridge which you had to disconnect.
But at night until. 2am we got music from what sounded like a live concert, even though this is remote location. Buffet was cold and very very basic.
Maybe this hotel suffered from covid measures and income has dropped, but it's clearly not in a good shape.
