Apache Camp Batu offers a "one-of-a-kind" camping experience in Batu, Malang, Indonesia. The place boasts of an "Indian themed" atmosphere, with the rooms nestled in a tepee / tipi design. The tents are not that big, but functional as a camping space for a night's rest. The space has a bed, a toilet with water heater, and a TV, but the TV was not functional when tried. There is no AC or fan, but the place gets cold enough (16-18⁰C) at night that you would not need it. There is a common space in the middle of the camp for eating and an area for a bonfire for hanging out. It is adviced that you bring portable cooking implements and ingredients as food availability may be an issue. The staff are friendly and helpful.
The Apache Camp is conveniently located close to many attractions within the vicinity, such as the Coban Talun waterfall, beautiful flower gardens, tall trees, strawberry farms, 4x4 ATVs and all-wheel drive jeeps available for off-road experiences, and much more. The camp is suitable for families, couples, and solo travelers who want to enjoy nature and the Indonesian culture in a different way.
