I would like to share my feedback regarding my recent stay at Kaluna Resort in Room 12 from May 30 to June 1.
First of all, I would like to acknowledge that the resort has a beautiful natural setting. The lush trees surrounding the property and the charming wooden cottage concept create a peaceful and unique atmosphere that has great potential to provide a memorable guest experience.
However, during my stay, I encountered several issues that significantly affected my overall satisfaction:
1. The stairs leading to the room are extremely steep and may pose a serious safety risk to guests, especially children, elderly guests, and those carrying luggage.
2. The parking area is located quite far from the lobby, making arrival and departure inconvenient and inefficient.
3. Many parts of the property appear poorly maintained, giving the impression that the resort is not being properly cared for.
4. The Wi-Fi connection was very poor and unreliable throughout my stay.
5. The reception/management staff were often unavailable, making it difficult to seek assistance when needed.
6. A leftover packaged milk drink for my baby was not cleared from the room during housekeeping.
7. Used coffee cups were left uncleaned.
8. On one of the days during my stay, the room was not cleaned at all.
9. The bathroom floor was sandy and never properly cleaned.
10. Leftover food and food packaging were not removed by housekeeping.
11. The bed sheets did not appear to be properly cleaned or replaced.
I am sharing this feedback because I believe Kaluna Resort has significant potential due to its beautiful location and unique concept. Unfortunately, the issues mentioned above detracted from what could have been an enjoyable stay.
I sincerely hope the management will take these concerns seriously and make the necessary improvements to housekeeping standards, maintenance, guest services, and overall operational management. Addressing these issues will help ensure that future guests have a much better experience and are not left disappointed.
