Dialoog Hotel Banyuwangi — One of my best experience so far!
My family and I stayed at Dialoog Hotel Banyuwangi from 29 Dec'25 until 3 Jan'26 which was planned for year-end vacation.
As we arrived from the airport, unfortunately 1 room from 3 rooms we booked was not ready yet (the Suite one), however we were OK as we understood that the hotel was pretty busy during year-end holiday. After waiting around 30 min, we got all our rooms.
Here are my honest review:
1. Arrival.
• Greeted well and were given welcome drink and wet towel.
• 1 room was not ready yet upon check-in.
• 3x complimentary dinner was not well informed so we missed out 1 time dinner on the 29 Dec.
2. Room.
• Standard room was OK, pretty clean.
• A little bit strange that cloth hanger was only installed at the toilet room, so suggested to put one as well in the shower room.
• Room was not sound proof, few centimeter gap in between door and the floor.
• Unfortunately little fridge, was not set as part of the room facility but available upon request.
• Suite room was nice, but found some "tomcat" on top of the sink, so eeds to improve bugs treatment before guest check-in.
3. Facilities.
• Gym is OK but a bit small and limited equipment.
• Swimming pool is amazing especially the view — right into the ocean and Bali island accros the Hotel.
• Restaurant (the one only) is pretty spacious with some tables also provided in the gazebo next to dining area.
• Needs to provide street lights from the front gate on the way to hotel area as it was too dark during night time.
4. Activities.
• The Hotel was creative enough to create kids and family activities, to keep the kids happy.
• The movie night was also fun as it was placed next to the outside bar so you could hear the ocean.
• Marsmellow and fire place was great idea, especially accompanied by accoustic guitar player and singer to sing along with. Perfect!
5. Food.
• During our stay, food variety at breakfast was great and also at dinner time.
• To me, the food taste was delicious and well balanced (not too salty or too sweet).
6. Hospitality.
• Mostly the staff were polite, corteous and helpful. Keep up the good work!
• Quality of service was OK, but for sure can be improved especially jow to focus on little detail of guest prefferences and request.
• Better communication between FO and Restaurant as I experienced confusion by a different information amongst themselves.
Overall:
• Great hotel ambiance with great view, food and fun activities.
• Recommed for family vacation.
• Pretty close to a good seafood restaurant and souvenir shop.
• It will be great if the hotel can provide a free shuttle to drop off and pick up to the nearest restaurant, so it will be beneficial for both parties.
