Riez Palace Hotel

The hotel provides parking facilities, and the staff is friendly and assists with parking vehicles. However, one guest noted that the indoor parking area is not very spacious, so caution is advised when driving in.

Most guests describe the staff as very friendly, welcoming, and responsive. The check-in process is typically fast, and guests are offered welcome drinks. Nevertheless, there have been recorded instances of poor staff communication, electronic key card issues, and miscommunication between housekeeping and the front desk, which resulted in some rooms not being ready in time for check-in.

Breakfast is described as delicious and fairly diverse, featuring desserts and traditional dishes such as fried rice (nasgor) and even gudeg. However, there are also negative reviews: some guests complained about an excess of carbohydrates, undercooked chicken, or food running out quickly with long waits for refills. It was also noted that the buffet stations and seating areas are situated too far apart.

Guests note that the internet connection is fast and stable. However, there were complaints regarding the quality of the cable TV signal, which occasionally cuts out, and the televisions in some rooms were described as small with poor picture clarity.

Guest opinions are mixed. Many consider the rooms spacious, clean, and cozy, praising the soft beds. Others describe the interior as dated (vintage) and complain about firm mattresses, a musty odor in some rooms, and stained bed linen. Issues were also raised regarding a lack of power outlets (only one for two beds), the absence of wardrobes, and the poor condition of certain pieces of furniture.

Many guests are satisfied with the cleanliness and tidiness of the rooms. At the same time, there are complaints about poor housekeeping: stray hairs on pillows, debris (cloth lint) in corners, and dirty floors in Suite rooms. In some cases, guests found that rooms had not been cleaned by the official check-in time.

The air conditioning in most rooms works well, providing ample cooling, although there were reports of the AC shutting off automatically on its own. The plumbing exhibits notable issues: guests reported broken bidet sprayers, malfunctioning toilet flushes, very weak shower pressure, and faulty hot water systems. Nevertheless, the staff generally responds promptly to maintenance requests.

Guests particularly appreciated the provision of prayer mats (sajadah) and the Quran in every room, as well as religious programming on the TV. Basic toiletries such as soap, toothbrushes, and shampoo are provided, though some guests complained of insufficient quantities or the absence of slippers and toothbrush tumblers in Deluxe category rooms.

The hotel features a swimming pool that many describe as aesthetic, clean, and comfortable, with separate areas for children and adults. Guests praise the cleanliness of the changing rooms and the overall tranquil atmosphere by the water. A children's playground and the Lovera Rooftop terrace—which offers beautiful city views and is well-suited for relaxation—are also available.

Yes, the hotel is considered family-friendly and suitable for children. This is supported by a swimming pool with a safe depth for kids (starting from 50 cm), a playground, and accessible children's breakfast options.
