🚫 Disappointed Stay at Bahari Inn, Tegal 🚫
I always aim to share honest experiences — both the good and the not-so-good. Unfortunately, my recent stay at Bahari Inn Tegal left me quite disappointed.
I booked a non-smoking room, hoping for a comfortable and safe stay — especially since I have a medical condition sensitive to smoke. However, it was disheartening to find guests smoking freely in the hotel lobby, with no real enforcement or intervention from staff. The smoke lingered into common areas, making it uncomfortable and unhealthy. This completely defeats the purpose of staying in a “non-smoking” environment.
Another major letdown was the breakfast experience. I was shocked to witness some guests touching food at the buffet with their bare hands, without any intention of picking it up or eating it. Hygiene standards seemed poorly monitored, and there was no staff supervising or reminding guests about proper etiquette. This is unacceptable, especially in a post-pandemic world where cleanliness should be a top priority.
Overall, Bahari Inn has potential but desperately needs stricter rules, better enforcement, and higher hospitality standards if they want to attract travelers who value health, cleanliness, and respect. Sadly, I won’t be returning. 🙅‍♂️
