Absolutely loved our stay at Villa Moya in Borobudur! The house is a gorgeous antique colonial-style building—immaculately clean and full of character. The beds were super comfortable, with two rooms having AC and one without, which was still very comfortable. The garden and wrap-around terrace are just beautiful—so peaceful and inviting.
The owners were incredibly kind and helpful. They helped us organize a driver to visit Borobudur Temple and even arranged a tour for us. Nothing was ever too much trouble.
We’re honestly sad we only booked one night. We’ll definitely be back—this place is a hidden gem!

A very pleasant villa. Beautiful, full of trees. There are durian trees. Fun. Calm. Natural, really beautiful. The owner is also very friendly. This villa is a must try if you go to Magelang. Very close to Borobudur and other popular tourist attractions.

We went to Magelang to celebrate Wesak day at Borobudur. We picked Villa Moya. Our stay was amazing and enjoyable. It seems every one of us were very comfortable during our stay. The owner was friendly and very helpful, assisting with our needs and find the good driver for us. For me I love the property giving homie vibes, simple and everything there. It closed to local cafe and market.
