Had a lovely night here. The hostel owners were very kind and helped us booking trips and show us the island. The location is just wonderful with this view on the sea with your breakfast. Would surely recommend this to anyone!

We spent 5 nights at the loyal friend hostel.
This is a lovely place right at the beach, 5min from the port and 2min from restaurants. The rooms are simply equipped. Jawe, the host, was friendly, helped us organize trips and gave us some recommondations. The breakfast was freshly cooked every morning and very delicious.
We can recommend this hostel and would come back again.

I decided to stay in this hostel for a few days with my friends and I definitely made the right choice! The hosts from this place are amazing and will always try to help you out. They organize island hopping trips at a very reasonable price and with great services provided. The vibes were just incredible and the location is near lots of restaurants/bars/cafes which was very convenient. Thank you mas Jawe and miss Tata for making our stay memorable! See you soon! 🫶🏼

Beyond lucky to choose Loyal Friend as our place to stay 4D3N in Karimun Jawa. Great view, warm people, cozy room. Couldn't ask for more.
The back terrace is great for relaxing as it has seaside view, and for quite an affordable price we already get breakfast for 2 person. The room was quite basic, but we had no issues: proper room, clean water, and the AC functioned well.
We also went for the snorkeling service provided by the hostel & rent scooter for 3 days.
Above all, the host are very helpful and accommodating. Thank you Mba Tata, Mba Wit, & Mas Jawe for helping us above & beyond during our stay.
Definitely will recommend this place to others & looking forward to come back to Karimun Jawa <3 ✨

I think it is a super affordable hostel with an Instagrammable terrace and one of the best sunset views in Karimun Jawa! 🌅 for me the room conditions and facilities are decent for the price. If you need anything, just text the staff, they respond really fast.
The location is super close to the port and town square, right in the center of all the action. There are cute, aesthetic cafes all around! ☕
I recommend bringing your own toiletries like soap and toothpaste, but you could buy them at the nearest shop.
The host is so kind, chill and helpful!
Like the name of the hostel, the overall concept is like hanging out in your friend’s house👍
For my foreigner friends, who want to soak up more of the local scene and hang out vibes, I think this hostel would be a great choice 😆

I had a really nice experience staying for 4D3N at Loyal Friend Hostel. The seaside view from the terrace was amazing to chill & relax, breakfast was great, room is rather simple but I had no complaints: proper room, clean water, AC worked properly, etc. The hostel is walkable from both Karimunjawa Port & port for smaller boats (for the sea tour), and it is also located by a very strategic road with so many local restaurants, cafes & bars.
I also went for the snorkeling service provided by the hostel and it was so much fun. The owners Mas Jawe & Mbak Tata are so friendly and very accommodating during my stay. Looking forward to come back! 🫶🏼✨

We paid on booking 3 rooms in this hostel, then arrived at the end of the stay (15 minutes before taking the ferry back to Java) the hotel manager asked us to pay again 2 rooms we had already paid! On the bill we also discovered that we had been charged for 2 days' scooters in excess. So we paid 46€ per person, instead of 12€ for 4 nights, for a hostel with frankly very few comforts: cold shower, no sheets to cover up with a 19-degree A/C, and a little extra cockroach in two out of three showers…
