What an absolute pleasure to stay at the Garden house, we came for a business trip and made good friends along the way. Very helpful staff. All friendly and smiley, breakfast was delicious each morning and we have had a wonderful stay. Would highly recommend and would 💯 return.

We stayed for 2 nights towards the end of December. The rooms are lovely and spacious and the location is great if you don’t mind getting a (very cheap) taxi into and out of town.
It was very clean, breakfast was tasty and the pool and facilities are brilliant.
Peitar and his family are absolutely wonderful. Very welcoming and informative and we were sad when it was time to leave!

I enjoyed my time here. The hosts speak English and were friendly. There are two dogs on the property, but they do not go to the second level, where the rooms are located. You may, however, see them at the pool area. The pool is excellent for relaxation though not vigorous swimming.
The location is near only one major indoors restaurant, so expect to use GrabFood or GoFood.
The only major issue is that if your neighbor is watching TV, the sounds transfer to your room because sound carries over. (November 2023)

Great Value! Once you arrive there, you find a new, bright white house welcoming you to stay. The spacious guest rooms were very clean, airconditioned and have a big terrace facing the sea – just the ones you want to have on your holiday. I especially enjoyed the early morning hours, having a swim in the outdoor pool, listening to morning prayers from different directions, and just enjoying a nice cup of java coffee by the pool. Nothing what you can experience back home in Europe. If you fancy for some nasi goreng and sambal, just ask the owner – didn’t find any better during our whole trip. Once you are there, take a walk to the nearby beach, and enjoy a beer looking at the sunset or have a dinner in the neighbouring restaurant. If you need some program, ask Peter. We had a nice tour to the countryside and visit to the city. If you like — rent a ‘motor’ (scooter) and take a tour in Jepara by your own. Big thanks to the lovely couple (Peter and Misni) for all the tips, program, and service – you made our stay perfect.

A great visit to Jepara in this nice homestay. Big, spacious rooms were clean and the breakfast excellent, especially the nasi goreng was super good. Very lovely couple run the place and were most helpful in all arrangements. The pool was nice and we also walked to the nearby beach.

Booked this hotel through the app. Paid for 2 nights. We arrived at the hotel in the evening, but the hotel owner (a foreigner) did not allow us to check in, he spoke rudely and behaved aggressively. Money for two nights was not returned. Hotel without lighting, without navigation. The reception area is a table and 3 chairs in a room the size of a toilet.
When choosing this hotel, be careful, the owner definitely does not understand what a hospitality business is.

Saying here for a few days! It’s absolutely gorgeous accommodation to stay in. Super clean, peaceful and amazing views of the ocean from there super large and spacious bedrooms.
The owners are extremely helpful in directing you of places to go and things to do in jepara which is a lovely little area.
Really recommend staying here if you are in jepara.

Highly recommended! The place is very clean, has a stunning view of the ocean and beautiful sunset. The accommodation (our room) is very clean and comfortable. The owners, Misni and Peter, are very welcoming and friendly. Wish we could have stayed longer.

The room where we stayed was so spacious, Super clean, bright, and very well designed.
The swimming pool downstairs is good for cooling down in a hot day or simply just to chill in the afternoon.
My daughter really recommend their home made bread for breakfast. She even asked me to get the recipe from the owner ;)
I really like the view from our room. One facing the sea, the other one facing the 'jungle'.
And above all, the host (peter and misni) were super helpful and friendly.
We enjoyed our stay so much. Highly recommend this place and definetly will come back again.
