Room is small, not clean. Floors a bit sticky, seems the housekeeping staff not mop properly. No chair only a small folded desk. Bathroom also not cleaned properly. Apart from price and location, I wouldn't recommend this hotel.

It says in the elevator ads : comfortable bed, but my bed was not. It is value for money, but it definitely needs better maintenance and cleanliness.
I love orange color so much and this helps me better in accepting the condition.

I stayed at Starlet Hotel Serpong and overall had a decent experience. The biggest advantage of this hotel is its location—it is very strategic, close to main roads, business areas, shopping centers, and restaurants, which makes it easy to move around. On top of that, the price is quite affordable compared to other hotels in the same area, which makes it a good choice for budget-conscious travelers.
However, there are several areas that could be improved. First, I noticed there was no trash bin inside the room, which was quite inconvenient. The room is also not soundproof, so you can easily hear noises from outside or from the hallway, which may disturb your rest. Even though the room is marked as non-smoking, unfortunately, I could still smell cigarette smoke in the bathroom, which was unpleasant.
Amenities are very minimal—basic toiletries are provided, but there are no additional amenities such as slippers, which are usually expected even in budget hotels. These small details could really improve the comfort of guests if added.
In conclusion, Starlet Hotel Serpong is a good option if you are looking for a budget-friendly stay in a strategic location. With a few improvements in room facilities and maintenance, it could become an excellent choice for both business and leisure travelers.
