I stayed at Grand Soll Marina Hotel Tangerang for one night because I had a working interview nearby, and honestly, it turned out to be quite a good option for this industrial area. The hotel is located around 25–30 minutes from Tangerang Station, which is still manageable if you’re coming by train or public transportation.
The staff are mostly young, friendly, and helpful. The receptionist especially assisted me a lot during check-in and explained everything clearly, which made the stay smoother. The hotel itself feels clean, neat, and tidy, and overall the atmosphere is comfortable enough for a short business trip.
They also have decent facilities. There’s a gym area that opens from 9 AM to 9 PM, plus a small swimming pool located next to the restaurant area. I noticed they also have a ballroom and conference facilities, so it seems suitable for business events or meetings.
For breakfast, the menu was just okay, nothing too special compared to typical hotel breakfasts. Standard cakes, juice, and common dishes were available, but I liked that they also served traditional jamu, which was a nice local touch.

Dirty sheets, dirty windows, but very friendly staff and extremely fast Wi-Fi. The pool is so green with algae that you can't see the bottom, and we wouldn't dare swimming in it. The outside terrace is 3 meters from a very busy crossroads, which it is visually hidden from, but the noise is tremendous.
The restaurant is very nice, but they always forget something and the timing of the dishes is never right.
The breakfast buffet is extensive, with loads of options.
