Golden Tulip Essential Tangerang

My stay at Golden Tulip Tangerang was truly a pleasant experience. From check-in to check-out, the service was consistently professional and welcoming. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always ready to assist with a positive attitude.
The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. All the facilities worked perfectly, making the stay even more enjoyable and relaxing.
The highlight was definitely the food. The breakfast selection was varied, delicious, and well-prepared. Everything tasted fresh, and the dining area was clean and nicely arranged.
Overall, it was a wonderful stay, and I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Tangerang.

Okay, first let me tell you the story of why I ended up here.
I flew from Jogja to Jakarta at 1 PM, but unfortunately the flight was delayed until 3 PM, and we finally took off at 3:45 PM. It was only a transit flight because I still had to continue to Aceh. My next flight was scheduled at 4 PM, but it got rescheduled, and sadly I was moved to the next day at 10 AM.
As compensation, we received free transportation and a free hotel stay. Since we were already too tired, we didn’t even have the energy to be angry anymore — we just had to deal with it.
But apparently, the drama wasn’t over yet. I got a room where the toilet was clogged. I called the plumber three times, but no one came. So I decided to ask for a room change, and thankfully the new room was fine.
However, I noticed some dusty spots in the room, especially around the container area. The bathroom also smelled quite bad, probably due to poor drainage circulation.
On the positive side, the bed was comfortable — I have to give them that point. The air conditioner wasn’t very cold, but it was still acceptable.
Luckily, we still got free breakfast from the hotel, so at least we could eat before our flight while waiting for the transportation.
The hotel is quite far from the airport — around 19 km by car — but maybe it would feel faster if you ride a motorcycle. At least the staff were humble and friendly, so overall this hotel is still okay for a short rest.

We had a truly satisfying experience with the private buffet dinner at the hotel. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was elegant, comfortable, and well-prepared for a private event.
The food selection was impressive, offering a wide variety of dishes with excellent taste and quality. Each menu item was well-presented, fresh, and flavorful, catering to different preferences.
The staff were professional, attentive, and courteous throughout the evening, ensuring that all guests felt well taken care of without being intrusive. The private setting allowed us to enjoy the dinner comfortably and exclusively.
Overall, the private buffet dinner exceeded our expectations. It was well-organized, delicious, and delivered a high standard of service. Highly recommended for private gatherings, corporate events, or special occasions.

Tangerang serves as an important transit hub in Indonesia, boasting the country's largest airport. While it may not be a top destination for sightseeing, it offers convenient options for travelers. The Golden Tulip Tangerang Hotel stands out as an excellent choice for a stay. Its prime location is conveniently situated halfway between the city center and the airport, making it easy to get around. There's a grocery store right in the lobby, adding to the convenience, and the hotel provides spacious apartments with ample parking space. Although some rooms may need a bit more attention in terms of cleanliness, and sounds from the hallways or highway can be heard, the hotel makes up for it with a diverse breakfast selection that offers great value at an affordable price.

This is a very recommended hotel for family and business.

The location is not too bad. Eateries are nearby. The bed is comfortable.
But seriously. Clean your toilets! It's disgusting. Looks like it hasn't been scrub forever! And the smell is disgusting as well! Next time if I ever come here and it's not clean, I will attach photos as proof.

The service was great, friendly and helpful staff from the beginning. Check-in was easy process as they have my room ready on time even when I asked to separate the beds. The room was neat and clean with no problem. There was slight stain in the shower and that's about it. They offer affordable options for room service, and they came pretty quick. Overall great value.
The reason I took a star was because during breakfast, so many items were out and never refilled when I reached at 8.30 am until 9.30 am.

Comfort room with good amenities. The breakfast is great and varies. Nice to stay here and will be back again next time in yhe near future. The staffs have great hospitality and very warm. Keep the great work and hope Golden Tulip Tangerang would always gibe the best.

Spending more than 3 days here in Golden Tulip Hotel. Meet the staffs who greet me nicely. I'm so glad to be here as they welcome me so warm. The food is tasty, the room is so comfort and clean. Will be back again with my family real soon next holiday.

Wide selection of food for the breakfast. The bed is comfortable.
However, the non-smoking room sometimes smells like smoke. It could ve due to ventilation issues. This can be improved.
The waiting time for the lift was also quite long especially in the evening when it is crowded.
