The place is beautiful, the staff are friendly and very helpful, and the spa treatments are first class. We went snorkelling on the small reef and saw more clown fish than I'd ever seen before, including on the great barrier reef. Highly recommended if you're looking for an Indonesian getaway and are put off by the tourists at Bali!

I had an amazing stay at the resort. During my stay in May 2018, there's a snorkeling and kelong visit at just 350k IDR per pax, the place is fun and the scene is amazing! The breakfast provided by the resort is above average but they provide very good lunch! While the activities and food may be slightly pricy but they are of quality and there's some treasure in this resort's vicinity. To the left of the resort (walk out of the resort and turn left), 5 minutes walk will get you a restaurant that sells very good seafood. We have had an awesome 2 person meal with tons of seafood at just 190k IDR with some Bintan beer. Recommend to go at night. To the right of the resort (walk out of the resort and turn right), 15 minutes walk will get you Bintan Laguna Restaurant And Resort. They provide very good massage at just 250k IDR. Overall, I will recommend someone to stay here if they wish to have a nice get away — away from town.

Very pleasant staff. Room service, and the food is fantastic. Very pleased with the room. The view. And our stay. Would definitely stay here again, and recommend to orhers.

I love this place. Just perfect for a relaxed getaway. The service you get is incredible with all the activities well thought out and planned. Snorkelling was lovely near the kelong where many coral and fish could be seen. The mangrove firefly tour was enchanting. Lovely low tide walk and crystal blue waters. All good is freshly prepared and very tasty. The seafood BBQ is delicious and what was ordered a la carte was also great whether western or local. Beautiful chill spots set up with hammocks, loungers and just nice grass patches. Again, shout out to the magical staff especially Willy doing activities and Dery at the restaurant. Lovely wonderful people. Suggest to bring baby oil along to get some of the tar spots off from the water if you do go in.

Peaceful place. Far from everywhere. Slightly run down. Very limited breakfast items to choose from. Spacious rooms overlooking the ocean. Had to carry our luggage to the 2nd floor ourselves, no staff assigned to do so. No lifts either. Walk through the water to reach the small island across the resort in low tide was the highlight of the stay there. Most of the staff was all smiles and friendly. Make sure you inform them a day in advance your travel plans else they'll not arrange any pick up from the ferry terminal. Totally unreasonable but that's the way it is. You'll have to spend S$50 equivalent to reach the resort.

Service from ferry to hotel, this is a far place, an hour ride, but is ok. The resort was pleasant and peaceful. Food is very much approved! Though not much activities available if tides don’t agree. Room was great and good service.

Very comfortable rooms with sea views. The restaurant is good they serve extra fresh fish. Breakfast is full varied, good and hearty. The spa service is very nice. The common jacuzzi is very nice in case of bad weather. The staff are nice and attentive.

Good service all round, friendly staff that meets your requests. Great food served throughout, a little bumper will be the time taken required to serve your meals. Otherwise, excellent place to relax at.

There was a dull walk in walking distance, the sea is absolutely nikakushhee. The only remaining was to sit by the pool. And otherwise-simple, clean, no frills, hospitable. But the second time for nothing)

Good for a relaxing getaway. Don't expect activities as it's pretty secluded. Plus point is it's weekend market in the resort compounds which serves up great Street food that's light on the pockets.

Loved it! Quiet, peaceful, and had a wonderfully intimate, private feel to it because it is smaller than most resorts. Though it's not geared toward children, my 3-year-old had a great time, and we felt very welcome having him here. We had several delicious dishes at their restaurant, and their breakfast spread went beyond our standards. We also loved that we had options to do activities like the mangrove tours that they offer — options like these allowed us to have the relaxation of a resort while also getting a taste of local life, which is a big plus for my husband and me. Lastly, everyone on staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating! They seemed like they enjoyed their work environment and enjoyed working together — another big plus for us, as we prefer spending our dollars on businesses that are good to their employees. I would also add that the staff took great care of us, and they were super sweet with our kiddo! This was our first time visiting, but it will not be our last! We are grateful to everyone there for our stellar experience!

This place is a hidden gem. The spa treatments are wonderful in a picturesque setting. Pool villa rooms are amazing with private jacuzzi pool and waterfront views. The staff are polite and endearing. A perfect place to relax.

Very friendly staff and service. It's a very interesting beach as it drains during low tide and you can walk to a mini island that you would need to rise a boat there otherwise. Not much to go around outside the villa, but the villa has a full array of activities to fill your days! Chilling around in the pool or sun tanning is always an option too!

Good place for realaxing. Food and drinks quite pricey but the rest is good.

Nice place with well maintained and comfortable rooms. The staff are the real star: they are well trained, friendly and they all speak English. Only down side is the long commute from the ferry terminal and the proximity to a main road.

Excellent get away from city life. Quiet secluded pte beach resort all to yourself. Very friendly and efficient service. A local Seafood restaurant is just walking distance away. A great place to rest and relax only… and. No… there is no shopping available… you will need to get to city centre for that.

Quite a nice resort in Bintan, not too far from Singapore. The prices in the resort are quite high. The food was quite good in my opinion, had some lobster and also the BBQ Stingray was tasty. There are some activities that can be done at the resort and the sea water around it is clean. Nice weekend stay, but personally I wouldn't stay much longer as I would get bored.

The most amazing time had here! All the people who work at this little piece of paradise, just amazing! They all also have such a respect for each other always smiling incredible service, incredible food, incredible place, pristine facilities, just heaven! Thank you to all of you who have given us more special moments to add to our memory bank. Totally recommend you take the extra drive to this part of the Island you will not regret it! See you again soon!

"A Tranquil Getaway. Literally. ” While in Singapore and having received mixed reviews of trekking to Bintan — we decided to find out for ourselves. I did a lot of research and read plenty of reviews of this and other resorts. Especially if comparing the time and effort given in going to this trip versus simply taking a flight to Phuket or Bali. While you need a visa to enter Indonesia — if you are just visiting for vacation you can get a visa on arrival. Since this entire trip is not for those with weak stomaches. It is an hour ferry ride (from Tanah Merah Ferry — which is close to Changi Airport), and this ride could get ugly. I have witnessed first hand from our ferry ride beginning to end those excited passengers pre-boarding through mid to end of the ride where everyone had little sick bags and those fleeing in and out of washrooms. No exaggeration, however, it could have been that one ride was filled with those with weak stomaches, or the ride was just unusually bumpy — because the ride back from Bintan Island was not as bad and far less people feeling sick. So it's a 50/50 gamble. The resort itself, is just peaceful and remote. This resort isn't like your other typical pool and beach grandiose resorts, if this is what you were/are expecting, you will be displeased and disappointed. This resort has got some unique traits that you will encounter only if you have travelled to some of the most remote parts around the world.

Plus: — Friendly and helpful staff — Overwater Bungalows — Foot/Body Massage and Jacuzzi (Charged Extra) — Billiard table — Small jacuzzi for tenants facing the sea — Swiming pool + Bar — Cinema sessions in the restaurant — Transfer service from Pier/Airport — Can book/rechedule return boat with no low/no additional charge — Several activities like kitesurfing, scuba diving, visit small island on low-tide, etc. Minus: — Food is not exceptional and somewhat pricey even for fresh seafood/fish — Rooms could have a refresh (still OK) — Extreme low-tide can be a downer for some — On high-tide waves breaks near to resort can be noisy (Not for everyone) — Rooms are normally only available at 3PM (Attention if you arrive early in the morning) — Around 60 minutes car drive from Bandar Bentan Telani Pier.

Really lovely beach and good service. The pool and outdoor spa pool is great add on. Super laid back island to chill!

Poor restaurant service. Simple order took 45 minutes. Room has moldy smell. Facility not maintain eg. Pool table, carrom table. No convinient shop or minimart. Far from ferry terminal. Over-charged food and beverage. Tasted average. It is worth to pay a little more for better resorts at Lagoi area.
