Very helpful and friendly hotel staffs who went the extra miles to carry out the services.

The resort takes pride in keeping the beach clean by cleaning it daily and racking the sand so there is no sand flies. Even if the rooms are dated, they are kept clean. Customer service and spa is also great! Loved the kids club as well. We will be back!

The staff in all areas are tremendous. The pool is wonderful. Plenty of towels and sunbenches, around the pool as well as along the private beach. A sense of tranquility follows you around the property. Just lovely.

Everything was perfectly arranged!
— Last minute booking was entertained.
— Pick-up from BBT was no fuss! We were greeted by the staff right outside the immigrations counter! Same case when we check-out, smooth arrangement for our transport back to BBT.
— Great location! A quick shuttle bus ride and poof! we were greeted with by very warm smiles from the hotel staff!
— Check in? We were enjoying our welcom drinks and cake slices at the lobby while the staff collected our passports to peocess our check-in. No need to queue at the reception!
— Lucky us! We were allowed for early check in @ 12 noon without additional charge! take note, usual check-in is 3pm.
— There was no queen size bed available for us, but heyyyy, the single bed fitted perfectly and became a king size bed! so comfy!
— Veryyyy beautiful and clean beach!
— Super fun activities offered! We tried the Kayak activity and it was fun!
— Large spread of breakfast buffet! Yummy!

Not a very recommended place. The house keeping won't give you keys until 3 pm for check in, not even at 2.50 pm. All the activities are heavily priced and only basic amenities are free.

A beautiful resort to chill with the family, various cuisines with great tasting food, lots of activities for the kids and adults, spa and massage options all on a beautiful piece of property just next to the beach.

I'm a very fussy person when it comes to hygiene. A clean toilet is my top priority. Angsana Resort Bintan met my requirements. Free of beakfast. Lunch and happy hours are awesome for a meagre price.
Room rates are awfully reasonable.
Location has a convenient access to transportation from the hotel entrance.
The hotel staff and management makes one feel at home with their friendliness and one can see their dedication in carrying out their daily chores. Espcially staff Benny, He is a divine and humble man.
That's when my husband and I decided to go there again.

Enjoyed a lovely stay here at Angsana, Room was comfortable for the family with fantastic beach views, staff were very kind and helpful on every occasion. My only gripe would be the inflated prices at the restaurants within the resorts. But I guess that would be the same case at any resort island. Luckily we were prepared or simply did a little shopping at the local markets for snacks and lunch Highly recommend Angsana.

Was at Angsna for dinner, restaurant staff is friendly. Food was pretty good, but on the high side. Most disappointing is that there is no free Wi-Fi, only for their hotel guest.

Friendly helpful staff, nice beach. Modern HDB style rooms. Food is good. Resort food and taxis are very expensive.

Hotel staff are friendly. Facilities are great. Food so so. Plenty of activities for family, young and old. Benny, one of the staff took really good care of us. He should be named the chief happiness officer of the hotel. We enjoyed our stay.

My second time at this resort. Typical good standards expected of the Angsana brand. Rooms were a little dated but still clean and very functional. Private and clean beach with easy access. The bar by the beach is good. Service level is excellent too.

It's OK, although a little worn. But than again it's a beach resort. It's much better value for money than banyan tree next door.

Good but food a bit pricey!

Still the island is quite quiet and not overflowing. At the moment, however, 3 hotel blocks are built for a mass tourism that is not healthy, moreover, on the coast opposite of Singapore Oil is collapsed there are a lot of Teerreste on the beach and in the sea often there are big spills.

Fully satisfied: the rooms are beautiful, modern and clean. The staff of the hotel very kind! Good variety of food! The private beach is beautiful. Very quiet place, but suitable for even the most active seen that, in case, there are many activities to do. There is also a free shuttle service to and from the port of arrival; and also another free shuttle to and from a shopping centre.

Such a lovely hotel, great staff who are super friendly and can't do enough for you. The food is wonderful I didn't have a bad meal in the 4 nights I stayed here. The beach and pools are lovely we were extremely lucky as it wasn't very busy when we stayed. I went to the spa twice both times were excellent. The wildlife is super too I went on the nature walk and the bird watching walk both were great, the guides were brilliant so helpful and friendly. And to top it off some green turtles hatched and we were allowed to go and have a look at them. Keep up the good work I will most certainly be coming back or visiting other resorts and recommending friends and family.

Great hotel with European management.

Easy to reach via Singapore, very nicely maintained property, professional and friendly staff, fabulous variety in food and other amenities. Rooms are adequate. Enjoyed the stay here thoroughly.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Service is top notch. Room can feel a little outdated but it is well maintained. Big pool area. Doesn't feel crowded even on holiday weekend when the hotel is at full capacity. The beach is very nice and doesn't feel crowded at all. Just beware of tar balls on the beach.

Excellent place for short trip. 1 Hr Feery from Singapore to Bintan, Free shuttle from ferry terminal to hotel and back. Well maintained beach and nice location. Good place for relaxing and chilling out.

Nice resort has lotus restaurant just near to reception and also has xasana Beach club which is on the beach. Beach was also good, had clean water but no water sports activity. (May be on some other beach).

Great place to get away from Singapore. Very very friendly personnel and overall good facilities. But be aware that the beach may be full of tar spots released by ships. So make sure you call and ask before you go!

Nice, but not extraordinary.

This is an exceptionally special hotel with the most amazing, helpful and friendly staff. To name a few are Wiwek, Dewi, Moniek, Bella and Ronal in Lotus Cafe, Benny for smiles and zumba, Dinesh for yoga and Cynthia for service on arrival. The housekeeping personnel were courteous, polite and helpful and the gardens and pool area were looked after immaculately. It was fantastic to hear that staff are appreciated and have two days off per week.
Our garden suite facing the sea was a tremendous place to enjoy the sunrise and rest and relax. We look forward to our next visit already!

Good selection of food and activities. However be warned that the prices are steep. Expect a meal in angsana or banyan to easily set you back by at least 1million to 2million per meal for dinner for 2 pax or around 400k to 500k rupiah for lunch. However the standard of food is v high and the views and ambience at tree top restaurant banyan tree cannot be beat. The sound of the waves and wind is just amazing and super romantic at night. However it can be chilly so bring a jacket or ask for a blanket. A driver for 4 hours will set you back by around 1million rupiah if you book through the hotel. External ones go from about 500k to 800+k but I'm not sure about the safety of the car or language proficiency of the driver, insurance, etc. Transport is a little on the steep side but for the peace of mind and convenience that's for what you pay for! Banyan tree group has a selected transport partner (Toyota SUV) and they have done their due diligence already. The facilities were clean and comfortable with a good range of activities. Service was also good. Pro tip — go for a morning jog to one tree hill. Just ask the reception how to get there.

Good service from the staff. Friendly and attentive… Worth every penny you paid for. Of course it will be perfect if you are not a city person too. That's the reason we come to Bintan right?

Very nice place for a relaxing holiday. Hotel is well located in the resorts area. Staff is lovely: professional, well-informed, extremely helpful. Food is exceptionally good. Rooms are spacious and have a great view to the garden or to the sea.

Located just a 10 minute ride from the bintan ferry is the group of resorts. Angsana is a well kept resort amongst many however most well priced. The staff are super accommodating and helpful, the service is impeccable. Offering 3 levels of rooms over looking the ocean and pools. The hotel also offer many activities that can be booked at reception. If you are planning to play golf at Laguna this is the perfect stay, the front desk will arrange all drop off and pick up at no extra cost! Highly recommended!

I went there for the XANA dinner buffet. The food was fantastic. The service was excellent and the staff were all very friendly. Will Def recommend it.

Luxurious hotel with all necessary facilities (2 swimming pools, multiple restaurants and a bar, spa). A number of free activities are organized throughout the day (e. G. Bird watching, beach soccer, aqua aerobics etc. ). A relatively older crowd (40+). The spa is a must do. However, the spa price is negotiable, depending on your bargaining skills. We managed to secure a 50% on the prices. Easier to negotiate on a weekday than on a weekend, as the staff is relatively free.

I really enjoyed my stay here at Angsana Bintan. We had our corporate team building weekend here, and I was especially impressed by their corporate planning team. From the time we docked, until the time we left on our ferry, we were especially well taken care of, and all our needs were addressed one after another without much issues met. Rooms are dated but clean, and had all the amenities that we needed. Meals are well taken care of with breakfast and dinner buffets at their respective restaurants. Beaches are surprisingly very clean for what Bintan used to be known for, and water at the beach and in the pool were equally lovely. Do ask for their turtle releasing activity, as the nursery made special arrangements for us to release some turtles back into the ocean. That was very humbling and an event great for the evening before sunset and before dinner.

We were at Cassia Bintan on a company outing. This is part of the banyan tree property. The property is not 100% complete, but my stay as good. Half of the rooms are still getting completed, but the property is functional. It is beach facing and the amenities were really good. The staff was very helpful and friendly. I would visit again with family.

Lovely beach to walk and play on — very clean and nice texture. Rooms also very grand but they overlook details like not fixing a broken deck chair and water doesn't drain well in shower. Good getaway nevertheless.

Best hotel I have been to. The staff are nice and it is a must to go to the Angsana Bintan Spa. The buffet breakfast is not bad and they have a wide variety of food to choose from. I also lost my star fish they gave me and my sister. And they came up almost immediately after we called them like they knew that this was going to happen.

A really nice place in nature and a great short getaway from Singapore. However the experience is destroyed by constant hammering of techno music in pretty much every public area from 10am to 5pm. I think they don't understand their customers — most just want to have a quiet time out. Bintan isn't Ibiza and this type of publicly broadcasting music isn't needed in today's world as everyone has smartphones and can listen to what they want. Staff is very friendly. Some rooms are bit dated (water damage, constant noise etc), so be sure to observe during check in.

Paradise. The rooms are pretty, romantic without being luxurious (a little old) the scenery is beautiful, swimming pool and white sand beach at 2 steps. Hotel staff very very nice (sincere).
Variable time covered/sun without it being a problem. Many activities for all tastes.
Ideal for a couple wanting to rest and find.

The hotel is super! But expensive, no competition on the island.

Angsana Bintan is a good place for holiday with family and staff is very friendly, the beach, swimming pool and view from the room is awesome also provided free Wi-Fi and more free activities we can enjoy in here.
Definitely will come back.

Beside banyan tree, the beach share, compared to banyan tree's private, quiet, here's more hot, gas. Suitable for family groups. Banyan tree, the guests can enjoy here the facilities, but this can't be the banyan tree, the.

Neat rooms. Nice pool. Friendly service. Excellent spa. The beach is the best part with fine while sands and clear water. Simply wonderful. Food is not standing out and there is little other options outside of the hotel. But the special arrangement to have local cuisine on the beach is a must try!

This resort seems to be geared to Singaporean ex-Pats with families who want to get away from Singapore for the weekend. I found the resort boring and over-priced. The negatives: Over-priced; a coke is $5 (USD) and a can of tiger beer is 8 and a simple mee goreng is 15. The restaurants are limited and so are the activities for adults. No bar at all or lounge. Poor TV reception on most of the channels. The buffet dinner on Saturday night. All the food was cold (I think most curries and grilled meats like sate are supposed to be served warm/hot, not ambient temperature) and the ice water was sans ice. So everything was the same temperature (ambient). At $45 per person (after tax and service charge), it was disappointing. Too close to singapore. As evidenced by the tar balls covering the entire beach; little girl came up to her mom and said "momma we are covered in oil again". Admitted the hotel was very good about cleaning the beach. Had a road crew out all day raking and cleaning the beach. The positivies: It is a 45 minute ferry ride from singappre. Good for families with kids as evidenced by the throng of families (not good for couples wanting a romantic getaway). People are friendly. The hotel has good security and is clean. The massage at the spa was very well done. At a 25% discount offered it was almost the same as back home in the USA, but I will admit the ambiance and the service was worth it. Activities: Golf, ATV, birdwatching, napping on the beach.

Very good, beautiful sounds of the waves and just sea view facing.

Looking tired. Facilities not well thought out. No wash areas beach side to wash off sand. Beach towels always running out. Not very well designed pool. Rooms with ineffective air conditioning. Worse, our room's aircon broke down. Fans that creak and croak too loudly at night. Breakfast room hot&stuffy. Insufficient plates for breakfast. Etc Etc. Needs more love and investment.

Every aspect of this spa hotel fully fulfilled our expectations for a relaxing break with great food and good service.

The hotel charges more than other resorts like Nirwana, but the facilities and restaurants don't match up to the varieties offered by Nirwana. Be forewarned that all monetary transactions are done in USD, so your IDR/SGDs won't do any good here. This also means that meals and activities like spa and outdoor cost a lot more here. Also, be informed that guests here have a nasty habit to reserve poolside seats with their belongings even way before the pool opens at 8am, and returning to the pool only when they feel like it.
