They say in the bible that God created the world in 7 days, on the eighth day he created Clove Tree Hill, this place is magical, From the moment you arrive the peace and tranquility just hits you, there are only 5 beautiful villas built into the side of a hill, beautiful views of rice fields and tranquil green forests, there is nothing to do but chill out and relax, swim in the infinity pool, take a walk down to the beautiful waterfall and go for a swim if your game, pure fresh stream water straight out of the hillside, nice and cool, go for a walk through the forest or climb the mountain if you're fit enough, beautifully clean resort, no great mounds of plastic rubbish like the rest of Bali, and you can sit down and enjoy the beautiful fresh food cooked in the restaurant without getting smoked out like most places in Bali, there is no TV AND no radio to annoy you but each villa has it's own internet which is good, only stayed 3 night's but would have gladly stayed 3 months, could not recommend this place highly enough, If you want to come to Bali and I mean the real Bali not the commercialised Bali book time at CLOVE TREE HILL you won't regret it ever.

The moment you reach your destination you know you are somewhere special, really special. Absolutely everything is perfectly thought out and presented. The villas are private and gorgeous. Every single staff member is happy and welcoming. The food is beyond amazing. The massages are wonderful. Come and see for yourself why this piece of paradise is so loved by all who come here.

Photos and words just cannot truly define this piece of paradise atop a mountain amongst the paddies and jungle, absolutely breathtaking views, well designed and planned out rooms, welcoming staff and delish foods for you to try, shhh don’t tell anyone about this special place, but we are coming back.

We've just spent 3 wonderful days at clove tree hill. The villa's are surrounded by tropical forest and beautiful rice fields. The atmosphere is very quiet and peaceful. All the team, especially Eileen and Dian, is very kind and available to give you tips or recommandations to discover the area. Every details are perfectly imagined to give you the feeling to be at home. The homemade food is incredible. An amazing experience in the heart of Bali!

Simply perfect in every way. Everything here is thought of for you, which makes your stay so relaxing and effortless. The grounds and villas are absolutely exquisite and so beautifully thought out and executed. Dian and her staff make sure that you are well looked after and are more than willing to share their local knowledge, culture and traditions with you. The restaurant serves the freshest and most amazing local dishes as well as a range of Western dishes. Make sure you try the torch ginger sambal and Sate Ayam. So incredibly tasty. Kids are not forgotten about either. My 6 year old daughter had a ball pond fishing, swimming in the waterfall and exploring the local area. I cannot speak highly enough of Clove Tree Hill and am already planning my next visit. Thank you Dian, Eileen and the team at Clove Tree Hill for making our stay so perfect ❤️

This is my vision of paradise…

We’ve stayed at this recently opened resort situated on a hill in the middle of rice fields. What a wonderful place this is! Stunning views from a private air conditioned villa with all the comforts one could wish, like a good comfortable king size bed and a well equipped open air bathroom. The 5 villas are situated in a lush garden with an optimum of privacy. We’ve relaxed on the sun loungers at the large infinity pool overlooking the rice fields with mount Batukaru in the distance. The local staff is very helpful and friendly. They’ve served us some lovely dishes in their small restaurant ‘Sawah’, like for instance a very tasty nasi campur. The free Wi-Fi they offer is remarkably good. We could take our portable router with us on walks and trips. We made a nice walk down to the river with a natural spring waterfall where you can swim. No doubt we’ll be back here for a longer period of time! In the meantime we wish manager Dian and her staff all the best.
