Uma Sebatu Villa Ubud

We stayed here for a night before going to Kintamani for a jeep tour in sunrise tomorrow morning. We checked in around 5pm. The deluxe villa view was stunning with paddy field view spreading in front of us. The wooden structure of the villa gave us a very traditional feeling of Indonesian rural housing but with airconditioning, TV, bathtub etc. However, the hygiene here could be improved. My wife and I scratched ourselves from time to time when we were resting on the bed or on their chairs in our room. There were big ants everywhere which could sting us. Mosquitoes were quite wild during our stay. The wooden structure gave multiple ways for them to fly into our room. We had to stay on the bed with mosquito net covering us to prevent us from being their feast. At midnight, we heard sounds like people moving in and out which was quite strange and scary because the deluxe villas are separated from one another. The sounds heard were quite obvious like they were people going to come into our room with the sound of floor, door and windows being stepped on and opened. To these days, I am not sure if those sounds came from people checking in/out or from another mistique entities there. For Muslims, there were very limited halal restaurants available nearby. We had to order food by Grab which is quite challenging since the location is quite far from the city centre where halal restaurants are located.

It was great to stay here.
Amazing ambience & surroundings, friendly staff with excellent service, food was perfect (taste, price, variety), and the location itself is great & accesible (not very far from the main road).

Took my family here early on our bali travels. Excellent swimming pools and lovely service.
We had a massage every morning and the hotel staff organized everything for us.
We want our kids to love travel and this place was super lux and friendly, so mission accomplished — even danced Latin American with the kitchen staff 💙 great times.

I'm sure i'll be back to this great place. They are excellent in service and place. So spacious and clean room. The bathroom so "Wow". Really enjoyed staying at Di Uma Sebatu. We’re no strangers to Bali, so we knew when booking it that the location was a bit off the beaten track, but we wanted somewhere to unwind for a couple of days after a tiring trip, so it was perfect. We were literally in the rice fields, and it was great for morning and sunset walks.
Our bungalow was comfortable. Good Wi-Fi and decent aircon. For meals, we alternated between eating in and going to one of the local warungs.

Its very nice place to relax, all the rooms have a view of a rice field. Eventhough the location quite remote, but worth it. I suggest to used motorcycle instead of car cause the road to get here a bit narrow and try to arrive before night to avoid dark road with minimum light.

It was a really nice place.
*However, a little note for the night when I stayed here it was creepy ambience like in horror movies 😅 but its okay. Additionally, for the fried rice was nothing special.

I've been here several times, a nice and suitable family villa. A quiet, comfortable place, also with beautiful rice field views. Children also like the private pool.

Beautiful place and quiet. Staff is nice, friendly. Food menu with a lot of choice! Massage and facial very professional I did sleep during the 2.5hrs service. Happy place in the middle of rice fiel.
Checkout at 11am they will remind you early with call to your room! lol.

This hotel is located about 40 mins from the center of Ubud, so it's quite remote. The road to the hotel is narrow and very dark at night. We got a bit lost at the first night due to lack of lighting. It's a hidden gem, though. It has lovely view of paddy fields, and each cottage has its own terrace where you can relax and enjoy the awesome atmosphere.
There are two swimming pools but both were relatively small. Breakfast is limited, you can only order 1 type of breakfast (continental/American/Indonesian) but they tasted surprisingly good. Overall a nice experience.

I had an absolutely delightful stay at Uma Sebatu villa! I opted for the family room, and it exceeded my expectations in every way. The staff were incredibly friendly, always ready to assist with a helpful and proactive approach. Their attentive service made my stay even more enjoyable.
The room itself was clean and well-maintained. I particularly loved the nice bathtub and spacious shower room, providing a luxurious bathing experience. The private pool was a highlight, as it was not only clean but also comfortable to relax in. The villa’s location, surrounded by paddy rice fields, created a tranquil ambiance that added to the overall charm.
During the night, it was incredibly peaceful, allowing me to truly unwind and escape from the noise of daily routine. However, as with any nature-surrounded location, it’s important to be prepared for insects.
Uma Sebatu villa is highly recommended for those seeking a rejuvenating experience and a break from the usual hustle and bustle. The serene atmosphere, friendly staff, clean facilities, and beautiful surroundings make it an ideal choice for relaxation. I would definitely love to return to this wonderful villa in the future. Worth value for money too.
