Amazing hospitality by the staff. Very well serviced rooms. All equipment and rooms were clean. Breakfast options are very good and the staff is flexible to accommodate your preference and requirements. We stayed for 4 Nights and had an absolutely amazing experience with them.

Really a beautiful experience at Uma Linggah, Ubud… All the staff are really welcoming, friendly and highly cooperative… But Rita — receptionist deserves special mention… Really work with so much heart, dedication and all the love…

Had the best stay of my life at uma linggah. If you ever visit the place ask for Rita. She is the sweetest and nicest girl and will help you with all your questions and was very kind and helpful.

So overall, it was a nice stay, staff was very good specially rista.
They made sure we enjoyed our stay and very responsive on every thing.
The only issue I faced is rat in the room as it is a village area and rainy season, so we were scared sometime.
Management should work on it.
Other than that room was aesthethic and best for couples.
Also a small suggestion, they should increase vegetarian menu, as many indian people visit there who are veg.

We had rats in our room, which made the stay extremely uncomfortable. There were also other noises throughout the night, which is somewhat expected given the resort’s location. However, it’s disappointing that despite similar complaints from past guests, management still hasn’t addressed the issue of rodents and reptiles entering the rooms. One rat even climbed onto our bed during the night, leaving us unable to sleep afterward.
The only positive aspect of our stay was the staff — they were courteous, polite, and genuinely helpful. My two‑star rating is solely because of them; otherwise, I would have rated this resort just one star.

The private pool rooms are beautiful and spacious! We wished more lights in the room as it was fairly dim in our villa. We changed the room because we heard some noises late night and were scared if the reptile was in our room. The staff is veryyy attentive and they entertatined our requests to check rooms multiple times. They arrange everything they can to make sure we're comfortable and happy.

Our stay at Uma Linggah Villa was a unique and memorable experience. From the moment we arrived, the warm hospitality and peaceful ambience stood out. The villa is located in a remote village setting, far from the hustle and bustle of Bali city, surrounded by beautiful paddy fields. It truly gives you the feeling of staying in an untouched part of Ubud. The villas themselves are named beautifully—we stayed in Kumbhakarna. Breakfast was delicious, and the overall atmosphere was serene and relaxing.
That said, this property is best suited for those seeking tranquility over nightlife. If you’re looking for clubs, parties, or a central location, this is not the place. The resort is also quite far from Ubud’s main area, so I strongly recommend arranging a private car beforehand for convenience.
One thing that initially unsettled me was the presence of geckos (from the lizard family) around the villa. On the first night, their sounds kept me shivering, and there were also noises on the roof—likely a squirrel or cat—scraping and running about, which made for a sleepless night. Thankfully, my wife reassured me that these are common in villages, and from the next day onwards, I was able to rest peacefully.
The only real drawback for me was noticing mold on the walls in the room, which could be improved.
Overall, Uma Linggah Villa offers a true countryside experience in Bali.

A very below average place with animals running all over the top of the room not able to sleep and average food. Situated far from the site-seeing spots, this place is not worth spending with alot of disturbance and sleepless nights.

New property. Great rooms. Good service. You are in the middle of nature so expect some insects and noises which is fine. Floating breakfast and decorations are also available. Will recommend.

Nice resort, but I give it 3 stars because of the room.
First of all, from the first day we moved in, there was some kind of animal running on the roof every night. It gnawed, ran, scraped at it, which kept us up all night. It was probably a squirrel or a bat.
Second, the room was tired and there was mold. Some of the fasteners were falling off.
I really liked the staff and the constant help. Friendly communication was always there!
The breakfasts are delicious! You have to choose them in advance, but I really loved the egg Benedict and fresh juices.
The location is good. Quiet, peaceful location. Next to some small rice fields.
Overall it was great, but spoiled the impression by the condition of the room and the night beast on our roof.

Rooms are comfortable and well equipped, bathrooms are well built however, the issue is with the water pressure. Barely any pressure in the shower and bidet.
Service and staff are very courteous and helpful.
Location is a little far away from the bustle of Ubud centre, for us it was intended but would not recommend for people who want to stay close to the city. A very nice temple nearby and all basic amenities are available around too.
The property in itself is gorgeous, great view from the pool to the rice fields.
