Villa Mathan

Magical places between sea and rice fields. Staff very caring. Very good food. We will return. Thank you for this great holiday.

Very nice place to stay could improve the road to get there to villa have to travel on an overgrown track through rice fields first impressions were absolutely wonderful but after settling in and going to bed the pillows smelt stale after checking the pillows were very badly stained from sweat pillow cases were stained on some pillows there were brown stains and blood stains on some sheets decided to sleep on top on doona and wrap a pillow in a bathrobe that was filthy also so used a towel was clean but not soft and fluffy in the morning we went to kitchen to make a coffee the kitchen sink was absolutely filthy the bath tub in one bedroom out door bathroom was rotten dirty I wouldn't bath a dog in it.
Toilet seats in all rooms need to be replaced air conditioners need checking one air con in one bedroom didn't blow much cool air kitchen air con didn't work so couldn't eat inside it was too hot the house keeping needs alot of improvement for a 5 star villa I wouldn't recommend it the staff were lovely and villa was beautiful but they need training on housekeeping and road to villa needs to be kept up to mowing and clearing if staff were given more training on house keeping I think it would help.
