Wait Garden Cottage

From the first moment I felt welcome. The staff members are so cute and very friendly. They told me about all the nice beaches to explore and I could rent a scooter easily. The bed ist comfortable and clean. The room has a fride which is not noisy at night. I felt compfy in the room. I liked the location which is not far away from the habour and where a town is and good distance to get to the beaches. The breakfast is simple but good. I really enjoyed the great coffee, they have a good machine. There a few little things that could be improved. I enjoyed my stay, the staff made it very pleasant. Great price value.

Rooms were Little small but the stay was good. Pure vegetarian options were very less. I insist to add atleast fresh fruits in that. Still the staff packed us early morning breakfast and gave bread butter. Not to forget Ayu and Maddi who were very helpful and dutyful. Ayu was very dedicated in her work, she also helped us drop to Jetty point when we forgot our bag. The Hotel management is lucky to have Staff like Ayu. I hope the management Gives them good Salary and promotion from time to time for taking care of each and every thing of the Hotel on their own shoulders.

Such a relaxing environment! The hotel is situated perfectly for exploring the island, and we loved coming back to the comfortable room and enjoying a drink by the pool.

A peaceful retreat in Nusa Penida! The garden is beautiful, and the staff are always smiling and ready to assist. The rooms are modern, clean, and equipped with everything.

Located about 10 mins of driving distance from the port, making it easily accessible by car or bike. We were provided a room that had many wall lizards (which seem to be common in this area). On complaining, staff changed the room. Considering a small island, facilities provided in this hotel are apt for the money being changed. The complementary breakfast had one vegetarian option, which was okay considering the remoteness. Overall, our stay was good and it was a value for money.

My stay at wait garden was unfortunately not a good experience. I paid for twice the money for a room of 3 people, and still had to pay for an extra bedding. If I already paid for 3 people (superior room) why would I need to pay for an extra bedding again?
The lights in the room were barely lit. The breakfast is terrible. Too many flies on the breakfast table. Just liked the fact that it is closer to the harbour! Overall the experience was not good.

Very bad experience at this hotel.
It is surrounded by farms and can be pretty smelly, but the worst was inside our room where we found bird poo on the floor when coming back at night.
The next morning we found heaps of bugs in our (yellow) bed sheets, we decided to leave after 1 night and went elsewhere.
There seems to be a lot of fake reviews in places in the area such as other local restaurant we tried so I doubt this hotel deserve a 4-4.5 average rating.

Our best stay in Nusa Penida, amazing hotel, super clean rooms, fast service and wonderful view. The people are really nice and the staff are so helpful and friendly and trustable. We lost and left 500$ in the room but the staff found us to give it back. Only in the restaurant the service was so slow and after taking the order and after 20 mins they told the food is finished. Also the pool is so clean and enjoyable.

Coming to Bali for the first time, we booked this hotel with many expectations in mind.
But they ended up surpassing all of our expectations, the food was super yum, the rooms are super clean and even though it is built in small area it is very cozy and spacious enough for you to stay a whole week.
And last but not the least, the staff was very sweet, knowledgeable and helpful throughtout our stay.
10/10 recommended.
