Temeling Jungle Inn

Thank you to the hosts here, the food is reasonably priced and delicious! Everyday they gave us great advice about local places to visit which made our stay so much better. The rooms are clean, the AC works well. They have cheap scooter hire at the Inn and can organise transfer to and from the port. Temeling is some distance from the popular busy areas so if you don’t mind the travel you can find quiet places and even have them to yourself at times.

The hotel is perfect, located near several sightseeing points with a restaurant that has Indonesian and EU food. Rooms are clean and comfy, the surrounding areas are very natural and jungle-like. Most of all, the owners are very kind and welcoming. Thank you for such a stay!

We accidentally stumbled apon this place which we absolutely loved! We ate the smoothie bowls three days in a row, they are the best ones we have ever had. The staff were so kind and polite <3

We have loved everything about it! Since the very first beginning all the team was very attentive and gave us all the information we needed even before arriving. The place was cute, clean and really comfortable! The food was really really really good! The homestay is perfectly located in the middle of the island so perfect for exploring all the areas! (Less than 1h away from Diamond Beach by motorbike) Worth highlighting that Putu and the whole team was super kind and always helpful! They helped with everything, the transfers from and to the harbour, the motorbike rental, the Manta Point tour… We had such a wonderful journey! Thank you so much for everything! We will be highly recommending Temeling Jungle Inn to everyone coming to Nusa Penida! Suksma 🙏

Wouldn’t stay there again. The location is not good. Very far away from everything.
On our first night the TV wouldn’t turn on so we asked them to fix it, only to find out that is only by cable. And has like 5 channels, local one, so it was useless.
We went on rainy season so it was always raining… the worst part… it was raining on our bed! Woke up in the middle of the night and our bed was soaking wet!

I would say that this a hidden gem because it’s a bit away from everything, we stopped by after Templing springs and beach but the quality of food was really good and the staff were super kind. The smoothie bowls were amazing.

The best place in Nusa Penida. The rooms are very clean, the food is gorgeous, and the owner of the facility and his family are great people.
If you visit this place, don't forget to bring some small toys for the kids.
We stayed in Indonesia for 27 days, and this place was the best of them all.

The food was some of the best that I’ve had on my entire two week Bali trip — better than most of the more popular western destinations. Don’t think twice about eating here, they’ll pleasantly surprise you; try their eggs, sate, or smoothie bowl.

Such a great place to stay. If possible I can give 100 stars. Very beautiful and quiet. The food is so delicious, pizza is must-try. The staff is friendly, nice, supportive. It’s very near Tembling Beach. We definitely come back!

A nice and relaxing spot from which you can explore Nusa Penida. We stayed a total of 4 nights, we also liked it very much. Their breakfast as well as their lunch and dinner is superb, we ate a variety of Indonesian and Western food, and it all tasted great.
The host is very accommodating and friendly, so if you're looking for a nice relaxing place to stay from which you can explore the Island, then this is definitely it.

Very nice and calm place to stay and eat at in Nusa Penida, with lovely hosts. We spent 4 nights here back in February 2023 and would love to come back anytime. The owners can arrange anything for you. Scooter, day tours, taxi, special needs: nothing is impossible. The rooms are clean and have a really good value over price. We loved the night sounds of the jungle! :) The restaurant is super-yummy. Breakfast, dinner, pizza, beverages: everything was perfect! Thanks for your kindness and hospitality. I hope we see each other some time.

What an absolute delight it was to stumble upon this restaurant, especially after spending time at Tembeleng beach. We've been eating Indonesian food every meals for a week, which we love, but it was nice to change it up and try the shrimp pasta. Man, oh man, it was delicious. The noodles were not soggy, the sauce was flavorful and best of all the shrimp were fresh and still had their heads. The lime squish (ie juice) was extremely refreshing and not too sweet or too tart. The table next to us ordered a pizza. I would never think to eat a pizza in Bali but this one looked delicious and had me considering ordering another dish! I was so inspired I ordered the same dish somewhere else and it was a complete disappointment. The shrimp were "baby shrimp" previously frozen and no flavor. When we come back we will absolutely be dining at Jungle Inn again.

Great location in the middle of the jungle and at the entrance to Tembeling Beach also in the middle of the island to all the important attractions. Lovely staff, very tasty and cheap food. The villas are nice and tidy, they clean the room every day. You can also rent the motorbike here, all you need.
We recommend it 100% if you come to Nusa Penida.
