This guesthouse is located behind Crystal Bay. While it offers reasonable value for money, there's room for improvement. The safes sometimes don't work properly and all have to be opened manually with the same key (risky). The pool is nice. The staff is friendly and attentive, with one professional, "Bima, " who should certainly serve as an example to others. It's good and reasonably priced by Indonesian standards. Like everywhere in Indonesia, there's something not working properly in every room, LOL. Overall, highly recommended.

Pros: Very nice pool area in quiet tropical garden setting.
Cons: no amenities within walking distance. Staff were so unhelpful and plain rude. Only hotel we have stayed at in 6 weeks in Bali which didn’t have scooters to rent. Fridge ran out of drinks within a day including WATER — which is completely unacceptable in a country where it is 30 degrees and the tap water isn’t undrinkable. Fried eggs were served still raw and see through on top. Hotel staff refused to help us book a taxi on our check out day, and told us to organise it ourself — very weird behaviour and also another first for our time in Bali.
Very weird vibe all round with the people working there who seemed like the few guests who were there were almost an inconvenience to them.

This was by far the worst experience we had during our 1-month stay in Indonesia. We were traveling with our 4-year-old daughter, and this is the only place that blatantly ignored children and showed zero understanding of family needs.
Yes, the beds and floors looked somewhat clean, but that’s where the positives end. The bathroom was filthy — the sinks were covered in grime, and the towels were so old and worn out they should have been thrown away years ago.
The female staff member serving breakfast was shockingly rude and never once smiled. She acted as if customers were a burden. What’s worse, they outright lied to avoid giving our child a towel, claiming they “didn’t have any. ” How can a business not provide a towel for a child? That’s just pure negligence.
They didn’t even want to give us a table for three — were we supposed to have breakfast with a 4-year-old on our lap? They refused to provide a plate for our daughter, as if children don’t deserve to eat. It felt like they would’ve preferred we just left her outside.
And don’t get me started on the breakfast — it was awful. The food was cheap and tasteless, the ingredients clearly of low quality, and to top it all off, they served us artificial, concentrated juice — on a tropical island full of fresh fruit! Unbelievable.
The entire experience felt like a joke. For the price we paid, we expected basic respect and hospitality, and we received neither.
