Kompyang Cottage

We had a very nice stay there. The staff was very kind and nice and they even let us check in earlier. We really enjoyed the pool area that looks even better in real life than on the photos. Renting a scooter was also uncomplicated and easy. Small shops and restaurants are nearby, for the famous beaches like Kelingking or Diamond you have to plan with a scooter ride of about 40-50 minutes.

It's a decent place and looks as shown in picture. Except for below.
The shower, wash basin and swimming pool does not have fresh water. It's salty like treated sea water.
Breakfast options are limited but fulfilling.
Tv just for show does not works.
A bit far off from all attractions.

Really nice hotel. The bungalows are clean and comfortable. The breakfast is tasty. The bath in our bungalow was a real plaesure at the end of the day. The area is a bit noisy in the morning because of the nearby traffic, but is very quite in the evening and night. There are not many good restaurants nearby. For snorkling, I suggest to drive 15 min to the west from the hotel. It's a cool place with nice, welcoming stuff.

This place has everything from kind people, super polite, they came and picked us up from the harbour, waited for us with fresh cold towels and fresh drinks, accompanied us at the beautiful hut. Inside is paradise, smells clean and not humid with an amazing bathroom. Every morning they bring us breakfast of our terase. It is located at 45 min to the east of the island and 45 min to the west by bike. I recommend this place to anyone! It’s beyond beautiful and calm. Thank you to all the staff for all their efforts and kindness.

Hear me out. This hotel is not for everyone. But it's pretty good.
The primary selling point here is that it is one with nature, at least part of the room. The restroom is open with couple of trees and the bathtub is on an elevated rock setup. Looks really fancy in the pictures.
Practically, it's a little tough to use. The tub usually collects lot of leaves and is not sparkly clean. You will find insects like flies, mosquitoes, earth worms and millipedes (or similar things) when you are doing your business. This was not working out for me.
The door to the bathroom is not airtight, so you will find some bugs in the room moving out.
The breakfast options are limited but pretty fulling. Their lemon iced tea was amazing.
Very little offering for lunch / dinner. So, you will have to reply on nearby warangs or settle for the options that they have. Nothing greate about the food. Its decent and quantity is sufficient.
Pool was nice and they do provide pickup. Service was really great, and they provide cheap laundry.
It this is not really a deal breaker, then I think it would be a great experience.

We have spent 2 days here with 3 kids and it was just great. Very nice and spacious rooms, we liked especially the bath rooms and good breakfast with fresh juices, bowls etc. Very, very kind staff. Pool and garden area are small but in perfect shape.

Amazing place. So tranquil and relaxing. Luxurious feel to this place. Amazing cottages with outdoor bathrooms. Pool area is special. The hotel staff can’t do enough for you, they arranged our transport, every trip out, scooter hire and trips we wanted to do they were very helpful in informing us about them. Unbelievable value. Easy enough access to the ports and restaurants. We just wished we could stay longer.

It really is as good as all the reviews say. I’ve traveled fairly extensively around the world and this is one of the more unique and fun spots I’ve spent time at.
If anything the level of service is almost too over the top. If they have availability I highly recommend booking!

Beautiful cottage, the staff is extremely kind and always available to help you! The breakfast choices are the best we had in our whole trip in Indonesia. The bed is very comfortable and the shower/bath work well. The room, bathroom and pool are stunning. They don’t have an internal lunch/dinner service but if you wish to eat in the cottage you can get food delivered.

Loved it! This accommodation was wonderful and the stuff is super friendly and caring. The breakfast ist great and looks amazing. The open bathrooms are just wonderful and the pool is small but great. Everything was nice and clean!
The only con thing is that the cottages are super sensitive for sounds so you hear everything through the walls. But all in all a great stay!

Pros: The cottages were adorable & the landscaping was impeccable. Loved the included breakfast each morning & how they delivered it to eat on our porch.
The beds and pillows were comfortable. The staff was outstanding and went out of their way to be of assistance to us. They helped arrange our complimentary pickup and drop off at the port, as well as book a driver to go to dinners. They have a restaurant not far away (Singabu) that they provide a free shuttle to, and we loved it! The pool was delightful to come home to after a hot day sightseeing. While there is no restaurant on site, they were able to bring us drinks by the pool, which was just perfect!
Cons: These are all smallish details, but I felt important to note so that future guests can be better prepared for their visit. The walls are paper thin. You can hear every cough, talking, etc. Our air conditioner didn’t get cold enough for us. It was set on 18 degrees but it never got that cold. I wish it was more walkable to restaurants, but the road felt too dangerous to navigate in the dark. While the outdoor bathrooms are very charming, it probably wasn’t so enjoyable being our neighbor, as you could hear the sound effects of Bali Belly. The hair dryer was very weak and it took forever for my hair to be dried.
Overall, the value of our 2-night stay was excellent and we’d come back again!

Cozy 12 villa accommodation with amazing staff! They truly make you feel like family and the villas are as photoed. Note that you are in a more secluded area, but they assist with transportation if needed or scooter rental. The outdoor bath always had millipedes but staff assisted when asked but otherwise, its nature, what will you do!
Special shout out to Piping, Opel and Fiki for being so welcoming to my parents, husband and I!
(Note that they also don’t have a restaurant but do work with an outside resto if you want food delivered)

Amazing Stay! I would highly recommend staying here if you are coming to Nusa Penida. The staff was amazing, super helpful and super friendly. They were always making sure that we were ok and that we were happy. They went beyond their duties when it came to making us feel comfortable and well. The rooms were clean and well taken care of and the breakfast was great, nothing super special but well made. The location is perfect because it's a far enough from the may street that you don't hear the noise and also close enough that you can take a walk to any of the restaurants that are close by. This place is fully recommended!
