Pros:
— Away from the busy areas, so it’s peaceful and quiet (mostly)
— Breakfast is brought directly to your room.
— Amazing sunrise views.
— Staff are very kind and helpful.
Cons.
— Getting there is very difficult unless you have a powerful bike and the skills to manage steep hills, narrow paths, and sharp curves. Even cars struggle with the climb (burnt tires). Remember there’s no Grab or Gojek service available in Nusa Penida, only local taxis, which are more expensive if you don’t drive a bike.
— The property is right in front of a temple, so expect loud music and noise even at night, past 9 p. M. Everyday. If you’re a light sleeper, it can be very hard to rest.

Really nice experience, the girl at the reception was super nice and always available for support. The please is cozy and with a stunning view. The road to arrive it’s a little bit small we we did good with the scooter. We will come back.

Very nice view and beautiful place to stay, however the road to go up the hills is pretty steep, so make sure you are a confident driver if you rent a scooter.
The ladies were lovely to deal with, however I don’t know who this man Sandi was, but please don’t ask him for suggestions or anything. He doesn’t speak english and he lied to me about the manta snorkeling tour, he gave me his number as he was the operator of the snorkelling tour and provided me with all wrong information just to make me book it (assuming there were money involved).
I found myself in the worst situation ever with these guys that injured me on the boat and got my coccyx broken. The waves were giant and they were going too fast, so at some point I jumped so hard in the air that I fell badly on my coccyx and ribs.
Nobody helped me in this situation they all cared about the money, very selfish people.
I left the 4 stars only because of the ladies and the place itself which is wonderful. But please make sure the activities you book are booked by you, and do not let anybody give you suggestions there.
I will never go back to Nusa Penida, my worst holiday ever.

This place is great. I have stayed here twice. The owners and staff are super friendly & helpful. The pool and rooms all have view out over the hillside and over the sea to Lombok. On a clear day the sun rises over mount Rinjani — stunning. The pool is clean all the time. The rooms are very good — comfy, big mattress & fridge with good AC. Some of the “fittings” are a little “tired” but they have started working on them room by room. If you want to be in the middle of a town, this is not the place for you — it is far from the ferry and main tourist town (Toyapakeh) but with a scooter (or car) easy to get everywhere on the island and the distance from crowds is what makes the place great.

I have read the reviews and it is jaw dropping. FYI, if you’re such a clean person to details of not even the slightest ants or flies can be seen, whatever, then don’t bother coming to the Island because wherever you stay, there will be ants and what not. All in all — my experience staying at Green Valley was superb — host are super welcoming and accommodating to our requests. Convenience of water to purchase was a plus which most will say it is a rip off, I would say, it’s not much at all because in comparison to your dollar, it’s a small amount to pay and moreover, you contribute to the local community here. Breakfast was basic; but delicious. If you’re not about the simple life, go stay someplace else instead of degrading this lovely accommodation and nice host. There are times, Wi-Fi was not stable but not really a problem as I’ve a portable Wi-Fi with me and also, come on, why bother if I’ve got a great view of the sea! Everyone commenting about the neighbourhood, chickens, etc. Tho I think it’s pretty normal considering you’re staying in a sort of village. Overall, I’d say, if you are looking for simplicity and quiet, stay at Green Valley. It’s serene, beautiful and the host takes good care of you. Thanks Dian and family!

I loved this place, the only issue is that it's quite far from everywhere. If you don't mind driving the scooter 35 min to get anywhere it's one of the best guest houses to stay in Penida on it's price range, I've been to many different ones, their cabanas and pool are great.

This is one of our favorite places we stayed in our 1 year trip around the world. The rooms we immaculately clean and large, air con and got water worked as they should, pool was crystal clear. The location is far enough off the beaten track to make you feel like your in the middle of village life but everything you need is a short scooter drive away. Its such a beautiful peaceful place we extended our stay. Staying on this part of the island let's you get to diamond beach early before the tides and crowds make it impossible to enjoy. The views from the room and pool are fantastic. The price is super cheap for what you get. The owners are welcoming and inviting and very attentive. They even brought us free snacks like bananas and coconuts.
The only negative is the steep road leading up to the hotel but it is well paved and all the villagers greet you with a smile and hello as you pass by.

The staff was very, very friendly and helpful, I really love this guys! Room was big and clear, bed big and comfortable. From room opened nice view on the sea and swimming pool. Local breakfast also included :) In the evening, when I came from my trip, guys gave me small fresh coconut for free, it was exact I wanted at that time. Thank you Green Valley for you hospitality, it was amazing!
