Excellent stay on Nusa Penida – Da Vindra Resort - outstanding staff

We had a great stay at Da Vindra Resort and highly recommend it. The property is clean, well maintained, and beautifully located, with the staff as the clear highlight.

The team was consistently friendly, attentive, and helpful, making our stay comfortable and welcoming throughout our stay.

The location offers stunning views of Mount Agung and beautiful sunsets each evening. As the resort is on a hill, transport is needed; we rented a scooter, which worked well.

Da Vindra is a great base for exploring Nusa Penida, with a relaxing atmosphere and scenic surroundings.

We would happily return. Highly recommended.

Really enjoyed my 6-day stay at De Vindra! The resort is quite new so everything feels pristine, rooms are spacious and very comfortable, air conditioning is strong, amenities are well thought out. The resort is relatively small/has fewer rooms, so our stay felt peaceful and comfortable. The staff are warm and helpful, which made our stay feel homely.

Only downside is the location - the resort is perched on a steep hill (about 10min walk at 45deg incline), which is brutal on the knees and legs if you were to walk up and down multiple times every day like us. The hill is so steep that we did not dare to rent a scooter, and taxi prices (as with the whole of Nusa Penida) are much higher than in Bali (there’s no gojek/grab here).
