Bagus Cottage

Lovely little place, staff were always helpful and friendly.
Rooms were cozy bathroom basic but okay.
The room had 2 drawers in wardrobe that you could put valuables in and lock.
Breakfast was basic but ample. Our taxi didn’t show up when leaving so they arranged 2 scooters from the workers there and took us to harbour 3 suitcases 2 bikes🙈 free of charge. They rent scooters, arrange trips, and taxis.
There was a few restaurants walking distance and a beach nearby if walking at night would recommend the torch on your mobiles.
The pool was just outside our door and overlooked the sea.

The room didn’t have a fridge or coffee making facility.

We loved our stay here! The staff are so friendly & accommodating. Watching the sunrise & sunset from our sea view balcony was a highlight, so relaxing & snorkelling directly out the front, we couldn’t ask for more ❤️🙏

We absolutely loved this hotel! All the staff here are so friendly and super accommodating. The room was so lovely we had a really nice balcony with table and chairs where we had our free breakfast every morning, and we had a lovely view of the sea. The breakfast selection is actually really delicious too. The location is convenient, and they do offer bike rental here too if you don’t want to walk. There’s also a really nice ginger cat who’s on the resort as well and they’re really friendly. Overall I highly recommend this hotel we loved it and would definitely stay again if returning to nusa penida.

The staff here are very kind and accommodating. They even refunded us for some nights we booked when we had to change our plans and leave early. The property is a little bit cozier than it looks in the photos, but other than scale everything is as pictured. The beds aren’t the most comfortable. You can find better places within this price range, but this is still a nice option.

I had a truly unforgettable stay at Bagus Cottage in Lovina. The atmosphere was peaceful and full of character — traditional wooden cottages, lush gardens, a lovely pool, and just steps away from the sea. Waking up to the sound of waves and opening the door to an ocean view was pure bliss.
The host was incredibly kind and thoughtful — he even cut fresh papaya for me in the evening, which made me feel so welcomed. The young lady working at the property was polite, attentive, and always smiling, adding to the warm atmosphere of the place.
One of my favorite memories was playing with the little orange cat who lives on the property — very talkative and affectionate, and always came to greet me!
Every corner of the place is filled with detail and care, from the blooming lotus pond to the stone paths and charming statues. It feels like a little oasis.
Highly recommended for travelers looking for a cozy, authentic, and soulful place to stay in Lovina. I’ll definitely come back!

My bets stay in Bali! The staff is just tooooo sweet. You feel so at home with their warmth. The room is really neat and they clean everyday and provide fresh towels. You get free breakfast as well and the room is so reasonable. It overlooks the ocean so the view you get is just amazing. Wills definitely be back here and can’t recommend it enough 👌🏻

We stayed at this wonderful hotel and were absolutely delighted! The view of mount Agung is simply breathtaking—every morning started with admiration for the stunning scenery. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, always ready to help and make your stay as comfortable as possible. The sea is just a few steps away, and the cleanliness of the rooms was impressive—everything was well-maintained, fresh, and cozy. The hotel has a relaxing atmosphere, perfect for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle and enjoy some peace and quiet. An excellent place to stay, and we will definitely be back!

They were so unaccommodating when I wanted to rebook — I booked for the wrong dates accidentally & when I told them, they said to cancel and rebook for proper dates but they didn't let it be a simple change. They wanted to have me pay again. So they just took my money. Just not the best service and they were rude to me online. Idk other spots wouldn't let this happen to potential customers who would give recommendations on places to stay on Nusa Penida.

Well located and nice place to stay and chill. Fair price for the amenities and services.
We had some issues with smell coming out of the drain from the bathroom. But they were helpful in trying to solve it, although we left before they could do so.

Very nice stay, close to dive center Purple Dive which is amazing to combine. Nice snorkeling with low tide at the front of the street where you can see all sorts of fishes!

A bit far but nice view from rooms nice rooms but very small it is.
Bathrooms are not so good water is very slow sink does not have a pipes.

Amazing room, the sweetest owners, awesome breakfast, breathtaking view. I’ll go back to nusa penida just to stay here. There’s a live music restaurant/ bar nearby too.

Disappointing. The room was dirty, the bathroom smelled, and we struggled to sleep because there were animal noises coming from the roof all night. Plus the photos are not like reality. And the sea in front of the structure is nothing special.

Had a wonderful stay for 2 nights. The pantai is right in front of you, clear water to swim in. Only thing we missed was snorkeling in front because there are turtles! The twin bedroom has the best view in our opinion :) Very welcoming and amazing staff.

I stayed for 7 nights & had a wonderful time at Bagus Cottage. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Always smiling, they are just the sweetest! ♡ They took me on a roundtrip on the island which was fantastic.
There are many restaurants within walking distance & the location is perfect to visit both the East and the West side of the island.
I loved the peaceful & relaxed decor & will definitely stay here again in the future!

Good thing is the location, right next door of a great diveshop, and if you've the oceanview room, the view is amazing.
Several restaurants and warungs on walking distance.
Value for money is okay; it's cheap, but not great.
Rooms not very clean but doable, ac worked. Breakfast timing is a hit or miss if you need to leave early for diving.

Nicest staff I have ever dealt with, so unbelievably accommodating and kind, well always have a contagious smile on there face and made you feel like home. Great place to get food all around. The rooms are clean and nice with comfortable beds. Cherry on the cake is you get hot water in the showers and breakfast. 10/10
