Great value with amazing views — but bring earplugs or noise-cancelling headphones!
I really enjoyed my stay at Agung View Villa. The view is beautiful, especially at sunrise and sunset, and the staff were kind and helpful throughout our stay. The location is convenient — you can even walk to the harbor if you're catching a boat.
That said, keep in mind that this is a budget-friendly stay, so the facilities are basic and the surrounding area is a bit rough — totally fair for the price. One important tip: bring noise-cancelling headphones or earplugs, because starting from around 4:30 AM, you'll hear very loud music from the nearby village or temple speakers.
Still, for the price, the view and service make this a great choice if you’re easygoing and know what to expect!

We stayed here for one night. The road leading to the hotel was in very poor condition and extremely steep, making the approach quite difficult. While the rooms were comfortable and the sea view was truly stunning, the bathroom felt outdated and lacked proper lighting. Despite informing the staff, no action was taken to address it. On a positive note, the hotel services were good, and the overall stay was pleasant.

If all you care about is the view, this is the best choice for almost zero cost. The hotel next door has a beautiful pool and the same view but costs four times more. I would never stay at this hotel again, but you have to judge it based on what you pay. So, considering the price, it was good.

One of the worst hotel experiences we’ve had.
When we arrived, our friend was alone with all the bags — three large suitcases — as we were arriving a bit later by scooter. Despite this, no one offered to help her carry the luggage to the room.
Later, when we joined her, we found the bags still sitting where she had left them. We asked for directions to the room and were simply told to walk down a path for 500 meters. Only after insisting did someone reluctantly agree to guide us.
When we finally reached the accommodation, it was dirty. The Wi-Fi was extremely slow, the water was cold, and the room was open to the outside — which meant we got bitten by mosquitoes all night.
We asked to cancel the remaining two nights according to the cancellation policy, but this request was denied without proper explanation.
We are extremely disappointed and feel that our negative review is entirely justified. Think twice before booking here.
Ps : going to the city center with a scooter take you 20 minutes.

It’s beautiful and has an amazing view to the bay. Be prepared for a lot of mosquitos at night, because it is very open to the nature around. The bed spaces could have at least a net.

While the receptionist was friendly and helpful, and the villa itself is quite spacious and close to the beach—providing a nice, cooling breeze—the overall experience at this Airbnb was disappointing.
Noise: There is a mosque nearby that holds prayers five times a day. While we were informed about the prayers, we weren't told that the first prayer starts as early as 4 AM, which made it very difficult to sleep.
Accessibility: The road leading to the villa is in extremely poor condition—by far the worst I've ever encountered. It's challenging to navigate by car, and even if you rent a scooter, it's very dangerous due to the rough terrain.
We initially booked for four nights but ended up leaving after the first night due to these issues. After some negotiation, we were refunded for one night.
If you're considering staying here, please be aware of these points.

We loved it here. We stayed in Agung view with my boyfriend for one week and we love it. We enjoy the view, the peaceful atmosphere, we use the direct entrance to the beach and we were snorkelling every single day. The staff was very nice and they helped us with everything we needed. Also we were diving with them and we rent a motorbike for good price. Lot of people are complaining about the noise from a mosque waking everyone up but be honest you can hear it but is like everywhere in the island. We woke up the first night and after we were sleeping all the time without problem. Thank you and hope to see you soon.
