My stay at Lost Lindenberg was truly unforgettable.
The service is beyond words. One of the things I really appreciated is that they offer complimentary laundry at any time, which made the stay even more comfortable.
Breakfast is included, and the food experience is something very special. You can sit with the chef and share your dietary preferences or restrictions, and he will take care of everything. The concept is fully vegan, and the chef—who is French—is incredibly creative. He actually suggests dishes to you, and every single meal was outstanding.
The bathroom amenities deserve special mention. Everything—from shampoo to body wash—is made from natural ingredients, smells amazing, and honestly feels better than many high-end brands.
The team working at the bar (since there is no traditional reception) are exceptionally kind and friendly. They don’t just provide service—they genuinely connect with you, making you feel welcomed and at home.
The beach is absolutely stunning, and what makes it even more special is how quiet and empty it is. Even though it’s open, it still feels very private.
This is not just a stay—it’s a unique experience that I will never forget.

LOST is a very special place. It's our family's favorite hotel in the world. We have visited three years in a row, and this year's visit was the best. The team was both attentive and flexible, the food was phenomenal as always, and there was light programming to keep the kids engaged — fun grilled things over the bonfire each night, offerings to make, blessings to attend, surf instructors waiting in the wings. We appreciate the warm embrance of our young family and the interesting guests that always turn up. Plus, the linens feel premium, and the endless open beach feels expansive.

The place is an experience in itself. LOST for me is "Living Slow and getting more of Me time". A beach for yourself, a small community of fellow travellers (all like minded in preserving Nature and Life), Vegan Gastronomical Cuisine are just a small part of the entire plan at LOST. Stay here if you like Calm, Peace and a high thinking-slow living atmosphere in sync with Nature.

I got lost in Los Lindenberg in the most poetic and unexpected way — just two hours from the noise of Canggu, it feels like finding a place that speaks to your true self. The black sand beach views were breathtaking, and the overall atmosphere is magical.
A few notes for improvement:
Food: Loved the vegan menu, but an option for meat would make it more inclusive.
Community dinners: A beautiful idea, though at times it felt like skipping them made us outsiders.
Room: Small but nice. Unfortunately, the bathroom/toilet/shower had issues. Also, the “ocean view” was mostly blocked by trees despite the higher price.
Highlights: surfing just 10 minutes away and the unforgettable secret river trip.
Overall: Perfect for 2–3 days of solitude and beauty — I highly recommend it.

Lost Linderberg is a truly beautiful and unique hotel. I stayed with my husband for four nights in mid-August, and wished we had booked for more. Definitely will be coming back. Everything is superbly designed and thought through, and in harmony with the natural environment surrounding it. True luxury coming from using top quality, yet in an understated manner. I personally fell in love with the bed linens, as strange as it sounds, and usually I am not that kind of person! Staying there makes you feel all the time emerged in the nature; when you are in your room, in addition to the sweaping views from the ceiling to floor glass windows, every time you step in your bathroom, which has only wooden shutters, you feel like stepping out in the nature, as you not only see the surrounding trees, you also hear all the jungle chit-chat — from cicadas, birds, and the crush of the waves which never stops; when relaxing in any part of the communal areas of the hotel, again, the beauty of the nature and the proximity to it, is a forgotten luxury for anyone who like us, is most of the time living in a big city.

Lost is a truly special hotel. My wife and I stayed with our two kids in the two sea-view rooms for three nights. It was the highlight of a three-week trip across Southeast Asia. The rooms are exceptionally designed and appointed. The staff is extremely warm and pleasant. And the setting is spectacular. Bali can feel like a spoiled paradise, but Lost is a taste of Bali at its best.

It was really nice experience to stay in Lost. You feel like living in another world here. It is very peaceful and cozy place. The pool was the place we like to spend most of our time and the room was also wonderful and has very good view. It is a luck to wake up there. The community dinner was a nice concept and we met there good people from all around the world. We just missed the meat cause we’re not vegan but the food was very healthy. Finally, everybody was so kind and helpful we’ll miss all of the team. Hope to come again!

My husband and I stayed here for the first part of our honeymoon and had an absolutely wonderful time. Every single staff member was so kind and helpful. Everyone always had a welcoming smile on their face. We are not vegan, but we thoroughly enjoyed the food and the concept of the community dinners — we met many nice and interesting travelers! We enjoyed several spa services during our stay, and they were all wonderful at a great value. The pool and beach were beautiful and relaxing. We really appreciated the sustainability efforts that were clearly demonstrated throughout the resort (no plastic in sight). From the architecture to the lush greenery, every corner of the resort is beautiful and dreamy. The entire vibe at LOST was incredible, we could not recommend it more.
