Incense Impossible Beach Boutique Hotel

A charming little hotel situated on a quiet street, just a short walk from Main Street and the stunning Impossible Beach. There are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. The staff were friendly and professional, and the provided shampoo and shower gel were of good quality. Breakfast was also good.
However, I felt that the overall value for money was lacking. I stayed here for five days, and it was by far the most expensive hotel of my 28-day Bali trip, yet it didn’t fully meet my expectations. Some drawbacks included: limited privacy in ground-level rooms, a mattress showing signs of wear and sloping, unpleasant-tasting water, short breakfast hours, and insufficient storage for clothing.

The room was very clean and had everything we needed. The pool area was very relaxing. Excellent breakfast, the big room. Lovely Garden. I come back soon. Just a 10 minute walk to some great shops & restaurants.
Located 16 km from Ngurah Rai International Airport DPS, the hotel is near Uluwatu Temple (6 km) 3 min. Walk to Impossible beach and Bingin beach.

Our stay at this hotel was absolutely wonderful. The staff is incredibly friendly, the breakfasts were exquisite, and we even got to enjoy a floating breakfast in the pool at no extra cost — which truly felt like a dream come true.
The location is perfect: it’s close to the shops, and right next door is Banana Lounge, where you can enjoy a delicious dinner and great drinks, making the whole experience even better. The beach is only a few meters away, and the hotel also offers massage services, which adds an extra touch of relaxation.
We will definitely be coming back, and I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Uluwatu.

I loved my stay at incense impossible. I needed a last minute hotel and they were so happy to accommodate. The rooms and facilities are gorgeous. They mentioned construction, but I never heard anything. Perfect location near the beach, restaurants, yoga/pilates, massages. I would highly recommend and happily stay here again.

A cosy little gem in the south of Bali! Perfect location — quiet and peaceful, but just a short walk to the busy areas and an access to the beach. The garden is beautiful and well kept, and it was so nice to relax by the pool in such a calm setting. The rooms are super clean with lovely décor, and the whole place has a relaxing vibe. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay.
Will definitely come back next time I'm in Bali!

We spent our last few days in Indonesia at this hotel. The rooms are cozy, with a very comfortable terrace, bathroom, and outdoor shower.
The beds are very comfortable. The pool is very nice. The water is at a very good temperature and very clean.
The garden is also beautiful, it's like being in the jungle, but very well maintained :).
The breakfast was good. They have three menus to choose from, and everything we tried was delicious.
The staff is very friendly and attentive. It's in a very quiet area, close to the center but far enough away to be very peaceful. I would definitely stay here again.

We had an incredible stay at Incense Impossible Beach! The rooms were beautifully designed, offering stunning views that made every moment unforgettable. The location was perfect, with Balangan Beach just 2 km away and the iconic Uluwatu Temple 6 km.
Also what made the experience stand out, was the staff with their warmth and hospitality made me feel right at home.
The breakfast served every morning on the garden was delicious, providing the perfect start to my day. I stayed at Incense Impossible Beach for 5 days and had a wonderful experience. The hotel is beautifully designed, with a calm and relaxing atmosphere, perfect for a holiday in Uluwatu.
The rooms are spacious, cosy, and very comfortable. Breakfast was always pleasant, served with care in a lovely setting.
The staff were consistently friendly and helpful, assisting with anything we needed, from calling a Grab to offering great local tips.
It was definitely a great choice, and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Really enjoyed my stay. Affordable, and in a great location. Hotel is small and quiet, with the busy area easily accessible on foot. Bike hire could be done through the hotel. Free breakfast was basic, but good to have the option. The service was a highlight — super friendly hotel owner and staff. Would happily stay again.

We were greeted at check in with a cold drink each, and our bags whisked away and placed in our rooms before we'd even realised. Check in was informal and relaxed, with loads of information and recommendations on local restaurants, bars, temples and beaches.
Our room looked great and it was clean and tidy. Each side of the bed had international plug sockets, as well as on the table with the kettle/fridge etc. The mini fridge was stocked with beers, chocolates, water, crisps, and soft drinks which were available at a very fair price. We had towels left by our bed and more towels left outside on the balcony to be used for lounging and at the beach. Our towels were not replaced throughout the stay, but we were advised at reception that this could be requested so no problem there. The bathrooms are covered and outside which was lovely but make sure all toiletries are brought in as there are monkeys around! The one downside of the room was the lack of clothes storage which was particularly noticeable for us as we had packed for 2 weeks in Australia previously. That being said, we had no real problem living out of our suitcases, and there are 5 hangers on a rack for the more important stuff.
The resort itself was lovely and well kept, with a small pool and a restaurant seating area where breakfast was served every morning.

We recently visited the Incense Impossible Beach Hotel and we had a good stay. The best part was certainly the staff as they were kind and caring of us during our visit. It is one of those properties that was nicely constructed and appointed when new, but as time has gone by, it is showing a little wear. The breakfast was good, but not great. But at the end of the day, it was a very good value. So overall no huge complaints and nothing would prevent us from staying there again. And to reiterate again, the staff was amazing!

This hotel is not suited to the rainy season.
The location is great, the staff is nice, everything was aesthetically thought but not practically.
Our room (sage) had an outdoor bathroom that was not protected from the rain so we basically were walking in water each time we had to go to the toilet or to go shower. Everything is soaked even the toilet paper.
Inside the room, there is almost no area to store and organize your clothes. The room looks stunning but becomes a mess since there is not proper dressing, piece of furniture designed to store your stuff.
The breakfast area is rather small.
The rooms that are on the ground floor seem to lack privacy.
In a nutshell, the hotel has potential but was not designed for rainy season and was not designed for travellers with a regular amount of belongings.
Also note that there is construction work next door from Monday to Sunday and extended hours.

Rooms were spacious, although bed very low to the ground. The pool and grounds are really nice and pool is deep.
Breakfast was average compared to other places we stayed. Would not recommend the pancakes.
The owner was very nice and recommend us to visit Melasti beach which was beautiful. There is also scooter hire just up the road.
Didnt notice the construction noise, but we were hardly there during the day. For the price, this accommodation being the most expensive of our stay, but for average rooms I thought.

Beautiful place, super quiet.
There was construction going on around but the hotel had an agreement that work would be done between certain hours. The staff were absolutely amazing and couldn't do enough to assist, thank you.
Breakfast was provided, was simple but well executed. We found the location fantastic as we were only a 5 minute walk to the main road and 10 mins to Bingin Beach via the stairs. We did have an electrical issue within the room which staff addressed immediately and had rectified, cant ask any more than that.
If heading to Bingin or Pecatu then please consider this place, you wont be disappointed.

Good location, beautiful atmosphere with garden, kind service.
However not comfortable to stay…
Toilet is located outside, so that I cannot put the baggage there due to monkeys.
Also when I opened a door toilet, so many insects (mosquito, cockroach, cricket, big ant) came inside of room.
Also tap water is so dirty that the color of its filter was getting black and even seaweeds? Moss? came out from the tap. Please brush your teeth with bottled water.

Small boutique style hotel. The owner is so accomodating and friendly. They have great recommendations for places to eat. An amazing restaurant right next door. In-house massage. Will definitely be back.

Unfortunately, we only had 3 days in this wonderful hotel in the middle of a fantastically green area, with outstanding, lovingly designed rooms and an open bathroom.
The staff were super friendly and always on hand, and the location is perfect for exploring in all directions. (Scooters could be hired directly from the hotel)
We didn't find the building site disturbing at all.
We will definitely be back and can highly recommend this hotel.
